Banker Bilo is a 1980 Turkish film directed by Ertem Eğilmez, starring İlyas Salman and Şener Şen. Maho (Şener Şen) takes money from his fellow villager Bilo (İlyas Salman) and many others from the region, promising to take them to Germany. However, he takes them not to Germany, but to Istanbul. After a journey in the back of a truck, Bilo and İbo (Nizam Ergüden) learn they have arrived in Istanbul instead of Germany, but the two friends lose each other.

Bilo is very honest, which is why he always ends up on the losing side. Bilo's paths cross with Maho again, and then it's time for a reckoning. In the end, all of Maho's assets, factories, and ex-wife belong to Bilo. Bilo is now rich and a banker.
