Peter Capaldi played Doctor Who exactly the way it was intended to be played in the Classic era - grumpy, funny, dashing, dangerous but dark as well. He was like the classic doctors all together

Aug 2025, binged Doctor Who over a couple of months and was ripped open emotionally by Peter Capaldi's Doctor. Not often i cry so hard and so deeply. Thank you, Peter. You're a tonic in the midst of insanity.

Perfect, Capaldi's doctor always manages to bring out so many emotions out of me.

First time I saw Peter Capaldi's doctor, I wasn't a fan, then I watched more, now he's one of my favorites

It was beautiful having that little bit of the 13th in there.  I had to rewatch cause my brain didn’t register it was a different person at first, it was the doctor speaking after all

Never be cruel, never be cowardly and never ever eat pears. Hate is always foolish, love... is always wise. Always try to be nice but never fail to be kind.
Oh silly old universe, they get it all wrong without you doctor.
You made me a better men.
Thank you Peter Capaldi. Ive lost my doctor. Ive lost a friend. But times change and so must i. I cant thank you enough. You were my light in very dark times. You were my shiny star in a dark universe.
Doctor...i let you go.

Capaldis Doctor, was real emotional, but kind and grumpy sometimes. Loved his Doctor :) ... and dont eat pears! :D

i love this so much! <3 12th is my favorite doctor because even though he can be moody and act like he doesn't really care sometimes, deep down he cares so much. He's goofy, a bit of a grump, emotional and above all he's kind.

A gem of a tribute to Capaldi that has so much hope in it, not just sadness - and some really standout clips and quotes I never see used on these types of videos. Wonderful

Doctor i let you go.

I was about to complement the shit out of your editing for removing the music, but I still respect the shit out of you for giving credit! I mean, I know that's a basic expectation, but still... I respect you for it.

Either way, this is some good shit. You didn't even rely on music to tug on peoples' heartstrings. I watch a lot of these, and this one stands out to me just for the skill and tact you put into it. (And probably heart, as well.

Damn, you're good.

The part about death following you was stunning, amazing video ❤️

Can we just appreciate the fact that no one has disliked this video

Amazing video! Man, I love Peter’s performance. He was such a brilliant doctor, made you feel like exactly what a 2000 years old TimeLord would be... A bit grumpy, broken and a tiny bit lost and afraid but always Kind.

Your work is so good with your editing and specially the scenes you pick.

I wanted to make a suggestion, could you do a video on the TimeLords as a civilization?
Not to focus on their corruption but on all the good and powerful parts. The great mysterious superiority of the TimeLords, like gods.

The power and glory of Gallifrey. The makers of the TARDIS and so many incredible magical things... basically portraying them in a bright positive light (most of which would probably come from the Doctor himself)... oooooh and all the times the word “TimeLord” as been shouted in the show.

Hope you’d consider, anyway I also wanted to say, please don’t get discouraged by the low amount of views you’re getting keeping slowly but surely people will discover your amazing work.

Great work here on Capaldi's version.  You have captured all the angst and heart and kindness, especially the kindness,  which I remember from the original (classic) Doctor's, O so long ago...my favorite was Pertwee...and I see a bit of him in Capalidi's portrayal.  Thanks's for sharing Sir Dragonside.

Wow thanks for doing this it was beautiful........ I didn’t appreciate Capaldi at the time I was so wrong 🙏

Absolutely brilliant!!! Would love to see a video with 12th and missy’s evolution!

Great! ♥

The Davros part...

Anyone knows the music?
