Thank you all for your very kind words and reflections, they really do mean a lot. I am astonished how many views the video has received in a space of a day, thank you all!

“Grief is the price we pay for love.”

-Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022)

I may be wrong , but the French president coined it perfectly. " To you she was your queen. To everybody else she was THE Queen. Only a Frenchman could have said it with  such meaning.

This is Britain at its best, truth and honour, some of our leaders today need a lesson in

Don't cry because she has gone
Be happy for she was here!

One has to hand it to the British. They have the best ceremonies and pageantry in the world. HMTQ was absolutely regal, dutiful, compassionate and dedicated to God and her country. There will never be another like her. Many of us feel like we lost another mother. How privileged I was to be born when her reign began.

To my fellow Americans know that woman drove ambulances in ww2 and held a nation that was fracturing together. She has EARNED our respect.

Lest we forget, this amazing woman was also a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. It must have been so difficult for her loved ones to have to grieve so publicly. The Princess Royal was the epitome of grace and strength, accompanying her Mother throughout.

Never in history has someone kept their vow to their country as faithfully as Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth. Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦

The lone piper walking away always gets to me.
Reunited in eternal peace with her beloved Philip.
Thank you, Ma'am.

In some sense she was the perfect monarch. Reserved and dignified yet with a profound warmth. She was a cultural center point for the entire Commonwealth. God Save the Queen!

I'm German, but in my heart she was my queen, too.
Her personality and what she did for my country will never be forgotten.
Thank you so much, Ma'am!

I’m an American who dearly loves The United Kingdom, and greatly admired her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth ll.  She is missed.

How can the world not give her full honors. She literally served until the day before she died. Never ever complained. A giant among men and women.

As a Dutchman, it was an honor for my monarchs to stand opposite of the casket of Her Majesty and the Royal Family. I hope the bond between our two nations remains strong in the future 🇳🇱🇬🇧

As an Englishman this piece of music always puts me in to a trance. God bless England

"I Vow to Thee My Country" was the Queen's essence, and the hymn embodies her lifelong service.

that picture of the queen sitting all alone at Philip’s funeral breaks my heart😢

Those police officers on motor bikes outside the gates all sitting there with their heads bowed ……….. what a wonderful show of respect!

For the period of mourning the people of UK were the best I've seen in my 42 years, the togetherness, the grief, the respect was unprecedented.

And our armed forces on the day of the funeral and beforehand were just immense,  so many young people making us all so, so proud.  Something we easily forget in this crazy fast paced world we live.

That your Majesty,  it is your legacy - something very few can ever repeat.  Thank you and may God rest your wonderful sole.
