This is the 12 month story of life on the farm in the Pembrokeshire countryside.

Recorded and edited by the late Lance Cole of Hungerford Farm, Loveston in 1995/1996, including earlier recordings from the early 1990s.

An informative and educational 'snapshot in time' which took in rural life at the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm at Carnhuan in Eglwyswrw, north Pembrokeshire as well as at Hungerford Farm, Loveston in south Pembrokeshire.

A 150 minute journey through the year, running from October to September.

Originally recorded on VHS and played for many years to the visitors at the farm in Eglwyswrw, under the care of Lance's son Mark, it was transferred to DVD by Stephen Radford of Maesteg.

In 2025, 30 years after it was first edited and completed, it was transferred by Will Thomas of Eglwyswrw yet further to allow it to be uploaded online, for the very first time.

For posterity, this document of social and rural history, is testament to the craft and passion that Lance Cole had throughout his life, for the emerging and ever evolving art of photography and story-telling.

In his memory, this is Part I of V - Introduction and 'October.'
