9:49 - You actually just turned into Shadow the Hedgehog.

man is it just me or does anyone else miss these early 2000 cartoony platforms mascots ? rayman spyro crash jack n dexter ratchet and clank banjoo and kazooie now everything has to so realistic and serious.

The opening cutscene of this game sounds a tad like a fursona origin story

Fun fact: Scaler was one of Matthew Mercer's earliest VA roles.

Fun Fact: Bobby Jenkins/Scaler is voiced by Matthew Mercer, best known for his work as Mcree from Overwatch, Yusuke from Persona 5 and Chrom from Fire Emblem

Wow... this game has some GREAT environments. It really feels like an alien world in a plane where the rules are just written differently. It's pretty surreal. I especially like the one with the flying jellyfish and the islands that sorta look like them.

"this guy is even worse than Gex"
HEY. Leave my Gex alone. His quips are all he has, have some heart.

So... Bobby Jenkins basically just became his fursona? I know people who'd kill for that. Also, is he related to Leroy?

You have no idea how happy it would make me if this game got a remaster with refined controls, gameplay, etc., or even a new installment. It's a shame that it's so underrated

This is one of those games that I discovered by accident- just flicking through the pre-owned PS2 section one day and I decided to buy it as it looked pretty cool and was a good price. I didn't regret it.

AHH I remember scaler as a kid good memories

Thank you. I mean it, seriously, this was an awesome review. Scaler was my childhood, I just loved it, it still is my favourite videogame for ps2, and you are the first reviewer I've seen who understands how underrated this game was. I remember when I was little and me and my friends played something like "superhero battles". We could be anyone who had at least one super power. I was ALWAYS Scaler. I was addicted to this game, and I miss it now. Welp, I think it's time to clean the dust of my old ps2 and maybe play again and dive into nostalgia. Yeah... probably going to do that...

bobby's hair really looks a super sayain

Man, scaler was my childhood. Loved that game so much.
also, take a shot every time you hear the word "vex".

bobby is a "lizard enthusiast"

That kid could literally be me. Reptiles are my favorite Animal Species. And i always dreamed of turning into a Snake or other Reptiles when i want to. So i probably start writing a Fanfic Game for Scaler 2.

bEhavior (A2M) also made Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time and Bugs Bunny & Taz: Time Busters, one a particular favorite of mine and both are really solid and fun games. I'd recommend them, and so does Caddicarus.

This is honestly really beautiful for a ps2 game to be honest even by modern standards.
Also its a game that gives you concept art for getting bonus collectables even a secret ending if you get em all and i honestly like the look of the bonus collectables.

Anyone else find it funny this video came out 4 months before behavior released dead by daylight?

A2M also made Naughty Bear which speaking of the psychopathic plushie has been added to Dead by Daylight
