Where will Pakistan cricket be five years from now? 🇵🇰

Jarrod Kimber and Behram Qazi sit down to look at the *future of Pakistan cricket* and ask a big question: what will Pakistan look like as a cricket team in five years’ time? With Pakistan possessing enormous cricketing talent but repeatedly struggling for consistency, stability and long-term planning, what needs to change for them to become a genuinely elite international side?

We look at the **problems holding Pakistan cricket back**, from selection and team management to domestic cricket, player development, coaching, leadership, cricket administration and the constant changes that have made it difficult to build a settled Pakistan team. We also discuss Pakistan’s incredible talent pool, their ability to produce world-class fast bowlers and batters, and whether the next five years could finally bring sustained success.

🇵🇰 What does the future hold for the Pakistan cricket team? Can Pakistan rebuild and become a consistent force in **Test cricket, ODI cricket and T20 cricket**? Or will the same structural issues continue to prevent Pakistan from reaching their potential?

Behram not understanding Jarrod's consistently bad statement and just nodding his head like yeah yeah.. is comical 🤣🤣🤣

Jarred is so funny 😂. Behram asks when we're pakistan ever consistent and he says no they have been consistent over the years, they have been consistently bad 😅😂😮

What's interesting is that even Pakistani YouTubers that are supposedly less analytical and more sensational like Furqan Bhatti have had a spine and called out Mohsin Naqvi for this clown show, but Mr "Call a spade a spade" Behram indulges in selective courage and narratives. If things are so scary then find another profession

It's always the Army 😅

They make the knockouts only because they’re grouped with India and every other team in the group is an associate.

Behram has a ball in his hands to look like a cricket expert... Yet he lacks 2 balls down there to speak the truth

Behram has absolutely no clue what Jarrod is talking about…. Just repeating old tropes . Pretty much emblematic of Pak cricket as a whole .

Jarrod might need counselling after this outrage 😅

There is this constant romantisizing of how pakistan cricket is resilient through tough phases and this romantisizing means you never ask the right questions. Why are these tough phases even present and how do we ensure that doesnt repeat so that the players have the best environment to play the game. The mindset is always lets throw shit at something and see what sticks. Even how akram and waqar were selected in the squad in the late 80s is a romantisized story of how imran khan had an eye for talent. That worked in thw 90s as most teams werent professional enough. Talent alone wont win games in the professional era. Teams know how to use data the right way to shine and thats where pak cricket has lost out. Also the people pleasing mindset is what has brought them to where they are - making erratic chnages, sacking random players and coaches. The whole system is full of people who just dont understand how a system is built. Pak cricket has no foundation and survives or lores. In 5-10yrs, the new gen wont have any interest in the lores of the 90s. And if the only players they see are these substandard ones playing pak cricket today, pak cricket will die.

Behram talks about Squash and Snooker as if Pak churned out best snooker or squash players one after the other.
It was held by the same person and when he retired so did Pak's hope with it.
Pak's hockey was good no doubt.

I have never seen Kimber swear so much....but i dont blame him....nothing makes one go crazy like Pak cricket.

@Atomicsfinest 3 weeks ago

Pakistan cricket team is a reflection of their country 😂😂

@Albetroz1415 3 weeks ago

1 fluke win against India is what they need as country given their nature, T20 is a format that enables that to happen. I don't see them ever being a consistent force.
