IRAN Daily Village Life : Rural Cooking in the High Mountains of Northern Iran
Step into the peaceful rural life of northern Iran and join a young village girl as she prepares a delicious, healthy, and completely homemade organic meal using fresh vegetables picked straight from her garden. 🌿🍅
Living in a small cozy cottage surrounded by a beautiful garden in a remote village in the Alborz Mountains of northern Iran, she enjoys a simple life connected to nature, traditional cooking, gardening, and farming.
In this video, she starts her day by visiting the garden and harvesting fresh tomatoes, zucchini, eggplants, and peppers. After bringing the freshly picked vegetables back to her cottage, she carefully washes and prepares them for a traditional homemade meal.
She chops the tomatoes, onions, and peppers and sautés them with oil and aromatic spices. The fresh tomato mixture is then placed on a traditional clay and wood-burning stove, where it slowly cooks over the fire, filling the cottage with an incredible homemade aroma.
Next, she cuts and fries the zucchini and eggplant before adding them to the rich tomato stew. While the vegetables are slowly cooking, she prepares a pot of fragrant rice to complete the meal.
Finally, she returns to the garden to pick fresh herbs and brings them back to enjoy alongside her homemade food. Sitting in the peaceful surroundings of her little cottage, she enjoys a simple, fresh, organic, and healthy meal made almost entirely from ingredients grown in her own garden.
This video is a beautiful glimpse into traditional village life in northern Iran, sustainable living, organic gardening, farm-to-table cooking, and the peaceful daily routine of life in the Alborz Mountains.
