Recently the trailer for Deltarune chapter 5 came out and having finished Undertale I've been wanting another game similar to it...I didn't know Deltarune existed until now.

I want people to know I debated very hard whether or not to play this backwards starting from chapter 4, but I know if I did Toby Fox would punish me for my sins.

these top two comments are frying me.

"don't make him rush, let him play and have fun"

"you have 14 days."

@genericname2747 3 months ago

YOU HAVE 14 DAYS TO FINISH IT BEFORE TOBY PULLS THE TRIGGER

now remember everyone, do not backseat this man to death. he experienced undertale as a regular player, do not ruin his deltarune experience as a youtuber, that would genuinely be evil

I love how this dude is just speedrunning the fandom discourse. "Genocide Route" "Ralsei is Asriel" "It was all a dream/pretend/drug-induced hallucination" "Kris is Chara/evil" I love it

BREAKING NEWS: at 3:05 he specifically stated that he cannot read which confirms the fact that he is an UNDERTALE FAN!!!!!

My theory is that Clownyguy was in a different dimension and thats how he missed deltarune until today

It's a cannon event that everytime a person plays deltarune for the first time always makes THE DUCK.

This is so interesting watching the perspective of a man who probably played Undertale once 5 years ago and is now thrust into deltarune without the years of fandom brainrot

Only person in human history who wont have to wait for chapter 3,4 AND 5(much approximately tomorrow btw)

@Pombpenbaa 3 months ago

he's acting exactly like the chapter 1 fandom

bro lives under a rock

@KawaiiJammy 3 months ago

to answer your question, Kris uses they/them pronouns, they're probably non-binary or agender

@morlongreal 3 months ago

With how many fandoms bro’s been collecting bro can wipe out at least 5 universes worth of people in one snap

So! Did you know that Undertale is an AU of DELTARUNE? It’s true! Toby Fox came up with DELTARUNE first after he received the end of it via fever dream, however he did not feel confident in his ability to create a game so he decided to reuse the characters in a practice run, and that practice run was Undertale.

Sorry kid, I’m busy watching peak, you’ll have to come back home on your own

Someone probably said this already, but Deltarune is it's own story, though it relates to Undertale it's not a sequel/prequel.
Fun fact is that Deltarune is the game Toby Fox always wanted to make even before Undertale exisited, it was literally revealed to him in a fever dream lol... so Undertale is in a way something he did to "test the waters" before he could make Deltarune.
