Moneypenny saying “so… tell me James” sounds like a reference to tomorrow never dies when Paris says “so tell me James do you still sleep with a gun under your pillow” the tone and inflection sounded perfectly the same

"Lab coat = I work here" is such a Klaus Hergersheimer moment 🤣

The night shift callbacks just with this level were so peak. Plus their music track and how they work it in its all so dope everytime I see it

1:38 YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE REFERENCE!

"Most bug fixed" probably reference to QA of the game inside IOI when the game was made

I love the reactive nature of the dialogue in this game. For instance, if you stealth through the section before the east wing Greenway will give you two compliments rather than one and a snide remark

Looks like that Missile Pen is finally perfected, Fatima Blush better watch out!

"Definitely a cat person" - Blofeld reference!?

This is the part where I got fully on board with Greenway, since it's where his condescending attitude towards Bond becomes fully clear. Seeing a man who built his life around discipline and high standards become aware of his mistakes made me feel sorry for him (spinning your feelings towards a character 180º is a sign of good writing).

26:00 "I'm not going to waste my instinct on one guard"

Ah, but it does mean you missed the die hard reference as a result. that was one of the non bond/hitman references I quite enjoyed.

24:00 "the rough with the smooth" was the original working title for Ian Fleming's For Your Eyes Only short story collection

Still can't fathom how neither of them can see Bond at 56:53.

Those statues and mask in the office makes me think of Die Another Day. That game looks tricky.

Something you missed, Calvin: when Greenway says 'the rough with the smooth', around 23:58 in your video, it's likely a reference to Fleming's original title for his 'For Your Eyes Only' short story collection. An admirably niche reference if so!

(In the previous level/video, there was also a mention of a 'Director Hamilton': possibly a Guy Hamilton nod?)

When you confront Sir Nicolas in the perch, it doesn't matter which choice you make. he gives the same answer

I love the score to this game - very exciting and cinematic!

I’m really enjoying your playthroughs of this game!

Q gives me Jerry vibes from Totally Spies!

@23:37 special liaison with the Treasury is that a reference to Eva Green's character from Casino Royale?

27:53 "Just ended up brawling."
Sounds like London alright.
