I remember playing this at a friend’s house on a PS3, split-screen. Right next door, my friend’s neighbor and another buddy were also playing split-screen on their PS3.

Only one of us had the Season Pass, so we had to share the primary account between the two consoles just to be able to play with a full squad.

We even had a fifth guy who wasn’t playing—he was watching and helping us look up the steps online.

Our comms setup? A landline phone on speaker. My friend’s house was chaos: the couch pushed as close to the TV as possible, furniture moved to the sides just so we could barely plug the PS3 into the ethernet cable.

We were terrible at the game, but twice as committed to finishing the Easter egg. The connection was laggy as hell. Three hours in, we had multiple downs and were barely scraping by. Nothing about that run was efficient.

Around 5:30 AM, we were on the final step in the Crazy Place. My friend’s mom woke up to get ready for work and found us still playing—with the house a complete mess. She started yelling, not believing we’d been up all night playing on a school night. Two of us went down while my friend was mid-argument with his mom.

The run ended in total disaster—equal parts disappointment and uncontrollable laughter.

I’ll always remember bo2 , and origins especially, for moments like that with my homies.

It is a gaming tradition to mock and make fun of Samantha’s Dialogue in Origins.

It always amazes me how they perfected the zombies formula years ago yet they still make changes that have just killed the gamemode for me in the newer CODs.

Nice glitch in the BO2 game is if you do a charge shot of a staff and then pull out  you shield, the kills are counted as melee kills. Makes that step 1000% easier

55:16 the origins ending cutscene takes place just before the primus crew arrives at the house in revelations. the alarm that goes off isnt a waring alarm but an alarm that is set to go off when the teleporter is being used

Man i wish this game was still populated. It was an event when there were 20 thousand people playing origins at once.

Thor, Odin, and Freya are the robot names, named after the 3 main gods in Norse Mythology

The Origins Easter Egg is 15 soul boxes in a trench coat

35:03 There are 4 of these around. Theyre messages from Maxis' perspective. They roughly say:
1. Richtofen is growing further apart from Maxis and cares more about 935.
2. Maxis wonders what higher powers may be behind all the magic stuff.
3. Samantha seems to be the key to everything, having dominion over agartha, though maxis knows not why.
4. Maxis says he tried to be a father figure to Richtofen, but recently Richtofen is being influenced more by his friends in 935 than Maxis' fatherly influence.

I was too bad at the game to be able to do the Easter egg lol

33:25 “START OVER” damn Samantha 😭😭

As a person who only played waw and bo1 zombies, this is insane so much is going on how did anyone figure this out???

It’s so funny how he gets the stone dirty as soon as he says he needs to not get it dirty

Can't believe I managed to beat this EE with 3 other randoms with minimal comms, just typing lol. Such a cool map

Pro tip: when filling up the chests, killing multiple zombies with one shot will only count 1 of the zombies. That's why it sometimes takes so long to fill them up.

The timing on this is insane because I literally started trying to solo the Origins EE 2 days ago, have failed all 3 attempts but I’m not giving up!

12:25 The ice staff in BO3 has unlimited range if I'm not mistaken. The BO2 one does not. It's one of the bigger upgrades from 2 to 3.

45:26 Killing them with a staff only gives a max ammo the first time. Every other time after you have to use a non-staff weapon. Using G strikes is the best

Richthofen wasn’t capping when he said “we have much to do”

Cod needs to sell the zombies game mode to jason blundell so he can save it again
