For this reason I wish Togashi did more with kuwabara’s abilities

It would be hella funny to watch everyone on this list get rounded together for a free-for-all battle royale.

You mentioned the anime but in the manga- and the OVA released recently- Kuwabara's Jigen-to is used for literal teleportation to infiltrate the area held by the Spirit Force Terrorist Organization. It's not a one-off ability for one arc. He just doesn't take part in the Demon World Tournament because he's busy with his college enterance exams (from an in world point) and since he's a human (from a meta-perspective) so they can focus on the demon trio.

Also people would just hit him before people were 10% done with the chant

The sweat technique is the absolute worse. I also think the Spirit Sword would be better with an actual swordsman. Poor Kuwabara.

Loved the Taco Bell bell sound effect when noting that rugby’s 2nd biggest character trait is him being dead.

I feel like a lot of techniques can be judged on the same merits as number 10 on this list...or just fights in general...if your opponent is smarter than you or stronger than you then you could lose no matter what technique you may have

The Spirit Sword placement makes complete sense. I didn’t respect Kuwabara as a kid but I learned to respect him as an adult despite the fact that Togashi did him dirty. When he did get a special ability Togashi wrote him off by getting kidnapped smh.

Exploding Boulder Bomb- Become the Yellow Devil from Megaman with none of the defensive benefits and with a slight case of death.

Always look forward to your content. My wife got me into this show back in 2021 and it's become a favorite of mine ever since. It's easily my favorite Shonen anime from start to finish.

I have to say, if you build up your spirit energy, the spirit sword becomes so diversified. Being able to take on different shapes, extend and shrink, can be a vault pole. There was also the kebab and doughnut and flyswatter version. It has variety that would make it a good ability. Unfortunately it mostly stayed a sword.
