This is not a ride but a fight for survival.

Skied this last week with a friend and wife….it was pretty much as the video…the moguls are fine as there is plenty of options at the side of the runs…it’s just the section of ice at about 1900m where it narrows and becomes clogged up with other skiers is the main challenge….it will be a challenge even to experienced skiers…great video

Спуск всмятку, лишь бы не умереть. Хорошо, что не поломался.

10:45 thanks for helping the guy who fell, by picking up his pole.
I’m still only an intermediate skier, but I did this run about 25 years ago…
It certainly sorts the men from the boys…
Great video, brought back a load of good memories.
At 71 I’m still enjoying the slopes, we’re at Kopaonik in Serbia just now, having similar (perfect) skiing. ❤️

To me, part of the fun of skiing is challenging yourself. Ice is just another challenge, like bumps, steepness, rocks, goats, and trees.

Thanks a nicely put together video. Superb picture quality. Well done.

Seeing the grade overlay is a nice touch. Things don't always look so steep on video, although when looking up the hill at 11:35 it shows how intense that section was.

I snowboard and often stay in Les Brévières (Tignes 1550m) so this is one of the routes to the chalet. I have not yet boarded this when there is enough snow for it to be fun so usually it's a long icy nightmare that is mogully, steep or too flat at different intervals so I generally avoid 😅

Superb video. Thanks very much. As my knees will not allow me to be there this year, this is as close as I shall get!

Great video and good foot work to get out of that jam. Always stay within your ability level.

I watch a lot of your videos and you appear to be an experienced skier. Could feel the tension, even from you, so that must’ve been a hard run. Brave! I usually skip the black runs, broke my hip in Les Arcs in 2022 and it made me cautious.

I skied end of January, La Sache was a billiard without moguls overall, then quite easy. Only the last wall required to be careful for intermediates skiers. The panorama is stunning. Great video !

Worked in Bev in the late 80’s. Loved it and have skied that run many many times. Off piste route even more challenging.

Incredible Tignes! I think Paradiski and Espace Killy are the two areas that appeal to me the most!

I have a feeling I skied that run once – by accident. If I did then the snow conditions were far more favourable.
I've certainly skied down from the Aiguille Percée in a number of different directions and certainly remember the 1550 Les Brévières lift. But it's all 25+ years ago.
