Beast Games holds like 40+ world records for a variety of different things, mostly surrounding the scale of their production. They reportedly spent over $100 million to make just one season of the show. They gave out more money than any other show in history. Their 1,000 contestants are the most of any competition by far.

... But is the show even good? Let's find out.

Hey! I definitely learned a ton making season 1 of Beast Games. I agree in hindsight, way too many self elimination games and not enough games of skill. For season 2 I’m definitely going to get the numbers down WAYY faster and have more skill based games. I appreciate you including the segment of the parts you liked and it’s obvious why all your favorite parts are once the contestants are dwindled down. Easier to get to know them. I dm you on Twitter if you want to help with season 2 games!

a guy crying in an empty room surrounded by piles of money is such a funny scene for a show spearheaded by MR BEAST lmao

Ironically, I feel like you’d be so tired of the self-elimination challenges, that you would want to go home.

This show is like the “unlimited games but no games” meme but in reality. This is not a game show.

100% luck
0% skill
0% concentrated power of will
0% pleasure
50% pain
And 100% busy to remember to advertise feastables or someshit

The fact that they brought them onto a pirate boat with cannons and mini target boats but they DIDN'T do the challenge is astounding.

Having challenges that involve people voluntarily leaving to keep others around basically guarantees you'll be left with worst people by the end

90% bragging about how much the show cost
10% actual show

Who’s back after watching Scott react to that crash out essay of a comment on his second channel? 😂

We have a whopping 1000 contestants and could only think of about five games to play.

Smartest people are the ones who dipped immediately. $20k AND you don't have to deal with Mr Beast's insanity? Big brain thinking.

This game show is the modern equivalent of those old stories about a king, riding through a town in his chariot, tossing coins out the back, so he can watch the peasants battle royal over them, for his own amusement.

It was shocking to me that with all the self-elimination they never rewarded the self sacrifice. Kick out everyone who didn't sacrifice themselves and only the sacrifice moved on to the next competition. Woukd have been a fun twist

Not having them fire the cannons is diabolical lmao

@Glennelope 1 year ago

I audibly gasped when you revealed they didn't fire the cannons.

The bribes were his defense in the future court.
"If the conditions were harsh, why did you stay? I even offered you momey to leave like 20 times"

This isn't a competition show, it's an ultra high budget Mr Beast video

Mr. Beast’s entire brand is just the equivalent of jingling keys in front of a baby’s face. “1 MILLION DOLLARS!!!” See? We gave someone money, so it’s interesting right? Big numbers are entertaining, right? jingle jingle
