At no point have I had issues understanding your words, friend. I also speak English as a second language, and in my case, I waited too long to start actually speaking to people because I was afraid and would get extremely anxious. I had perfect listening and could read and write, but would not speak at all, so now there is a visible difference in my proficiencies. You are doing a great job by getting out there and just speaking.
