The show was an intimate, rare club appearance and very little footage has been released, until now. Part of the “From The Vault” series of live concerts from the band’s archive, The Rolling Stones From The Vault: The Marquee – Live In 1971

Could it ever get any better than this. The band is chaotic, tight, loose, lost and found all at the same time. Utter bliss🎸🇦🇺👍

The fact Keith is still alive and kickin in 2021 is a marvel of the resilience of the human body.

I find it insane that this footage is over 50 years old and looks this good

Keith drinking the whiskey before the opening riff has got to be the greatest rock and roll moment of all time

Sweaty club atmosphere , the band at their best in that environment not the giant stadiums. Awesome. This is what think of when I say I love the stones.

The best version of this song. Mick Taylor was sublime. The song sounded fuller than most live versions

This early 70’s era with Mick Taylor is the Stones at their coolest peak.

The last part, from about 7:20 onwards, where the 'dead' song sputters back into life: there are no words to describe it, you have to hear it, the interplay between the two guitars, the harmonica, and Mick's vocal, propelled by Bill & Charlie: this is rock n roll at the height of its power, it swings, it crunches, it beats, the rocking harmonies of all the instruments together and more, something undefinable, something that tears at your heart and soul, grabs you by the throat and sticks a knife right through it oh baby and it HURTS!!!!! Deliciously!!!!!

The moment it all becomes clear - this is the greatest Rock & Roll band ever.

The Stones are the gold standard of live rock bands and this period was the absolute height of rock and roll with them at the forefront. The lineup with Mick Taylor had sound that can never be matched

What did Scorsese say? If you don't like Sam Fuller you don't like movies, like if you don't like The Rolling Stones you don't like rock'n'roll.

Only The Stones could write a song so violent and dark but you don’t even think about it because it rocks so hard you’re just hypnotized by the music. Greatest rock and roll band ever and it’s not even close.
