90s bdm aesthetic is coming back but not the sound

Fun bands Terrible fans

Torture wasn’t meant to have the frog vocals on the record kk actually recorded it a couple hours before he released it and he wanted to do gutturals but his voice was shot he couldn’t postpone the album because it had to be released on 9/11

Their very first songs they released are dope. The production on those is really cool too. Beaten into a seizure is an awesome song

Slam and hardcore in general gets boring quick. I much prefer bsdm, it’s a lot more refreshing when a breakdown hits after a good fast riff. Like you said these bands are fun live. I just can’t listen to the same chugga chugga riffs and breakdowns all day.

wearin the same deeds of flesh shirt as I watch this

torture originally wanted to do growls on enduring freedom but ended up doing frog vocals due to time constraints, he prefers the old school slam growls

This channel underrated fr

Saw them live. Fun show great live vibe.  Pit was definitely going.  Opened for the Bogg and Despised Icon.  Defeated Sanity also banger lineup 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Haven't read all the comments but that riff in the first song sounds like Liege of Inveracity

I saw corpse pile the other day here in dallas, tx and they didnt have a lick of death metal in their songs. Just hxc metalcore breakdowns for 30 mins.

Torture comes in around 1:59 I think his vocals are super compressed though and he's doing a different vocal style maybe?

That Wawa 2/4/6 is no joke. As a working man I’m sure  you know all about that Jim shiesty. Wawa or sheetz if you had to pick btw? Anhedonia brutally mogs this band btw

I’m not super into these guys and the vast majority of Maggot Stomp bands, but I agree with you 100% that this stuff probably hits HARD live.  I think that’s just the nature of anything Hardcore adjacent, def not for everyone but I can appreciate it

Ehh Dey aight. 🤷🏾‍♂️ I saw them live and they were great tho!

Today I learned the corpse pile is a band in 2025

WHAT UP ANGELS!

I literally could have seen them last night but got stuck in traffic. Still got to see Dying Fetus for the 4th time tho, could give a piss about Canoe Pile.
