2. Loss of trust – Tourists often can’t tell the difference between authentic and fake. If they’re disappointed with a fake product, they might assume all Bali products are poor quality.


3. Hurts local artisans – Tailors, fabric suppliers, and small workshops can’t compete with mass-produced factories in China.


4. Brand damage – If your designs are copied, you lose the uniqueness and exclusivity

Can shoes be completely resoled in Bali ?  
I have expensive ECCO leather shoes but they have a known ECCO brand issue where the ECCO soles completely crumble into a sticky black mess
So it’s either a complete new sole or the bin.

I was in Bali in 2016 and bought one but my new washing machine just put some holes in it unfortunately.
