I like how the Chinese widen the road in this area. I hope that they landscape the area in front of this development. Landscaping and proper esthetic should be required for approval of a project.

That area behind that fence was a local trash dumping spot for years It was eye sores... so that was a good idea to exchange it as payment so we can keep our money and they can sell the homes for repayment

It's possible that some developments are sold out quickly because many units are bought out by real estate companies. Those companies then sell those units for sizable profits.

How did CHE got the lands was through an exchange by the PNP government and them. The government had no money to finance the project so they had to barter.
On the subject of the road widening in the future is easy, Eminent Domain can be exercised by the government.

Yes, definitely a Hydro power plant. Went there with my brother in law one Saturday who was an engineer with JPS when I was in my mid- teen. Most I remember that day was going to a beach near by that was named Laughing Waters Property 😂

As with the widening of the road, the power to be are always reacting in instead of planning ahead. They should never allow that sidewalk to be built without making sure that there is space for 4 lanes
