I Bought TikTok's most NOSTALGIC products to test! Some lived up to the expectation, so were kind of a disaster tbh lol

Did you have any of these products back in the day?? If so which ones?! 🥰

Raise your hand if you love hope trying out TikTok products 🙋‍♀️

Oodie feels like an updated more functional snuggie to me. Also those popcorn shirts are apparently coming back and I’m convinced they just sat in a warehouse for a couple decades since they take up almost no space and are just pulling them out to resell now 😂

It's so wild that early 2000s merchandise is now vintage!!! Life happens way too fast! My favorite thing growing up was lite-brite!! I also always wanted heelies (the sneakers with wheels?) but I would've 100% broken some bones with those🤣

For the lava lamp if you’re using an energy efficient or LED bulb they’re probably not getting hot enough. Those old incandescents get hot quick which made them good for lamps like this.

For the lava lamp I think you need an incandescent light bulb, it's the ones almost everyone had in the 2000's, the bulb used used to get really hot. Nowadays most light bulbs don't produce as much heat but have a longer lifespawn.

For your lava lamp, you need to use an incandescent lightbulb because it heats up when turned on. Fluorescent and LEDs don't. Love your videos ☺

So many 2000s products I didn’t know existed. But, what really made me feel old is Hope saying she doesn’t know how to put a landline phone together. I still remember rotary phones and party lines. 😀😀😀

Love how nostalgic these videos are ❤

Lol I love how she has no clue how to get the landline to work and she’s closer to that timeline and I know how those connect❤❤❤❤ I love her omg❤

I'm so obsessed with those sparkling, red Timbs on your shelf! I almost have every color, but I would be terrified to try to rhinestone them myself. ❤

I’m a 2000’s baby and I got so much nostalgia from this video!!
Yes, the 2000’s, an era of “magic” things that simply grew in water… remember the little animals you could hatch in water?

@dawnchesbro4189 3 years ago

Hope! Thank you for the nostalgia trip!! I had a lava lamp in the 90's. You need to use a standard incandescent light bulb for them to work optimally, though. Led light bulbs don't produce nearly enough heat to work well. Incandescent bulbs, however, do get hot enough to melt the wax at the bottom.
