I agree with Whoopi. I never met or even spoke to Michael, but I know right here and now that I would let Michael babysit my babies unsupervised and unrecorded.

Michael was trying to experience the childhood he never had. He didn't have a childhood like most kids have. He was literally a child trapped inside a grown man body. I think he was always with children because they were the friends that could understand him.
I can't stand how the media treated him. They did michael so wrong...
Michael never grew up..Deep down inside, he was still that little kid. If you listen to Scream lyrics, you can tell his words were from the heart. You can hear the pain in his voice about the way the media accused him...

Sorry if my child was molested i would NOT settle for money. They would be taken to court for sure...especially if it is someone who is famous..I'd want the world to know what kind of sick bastard they are. I still think Mj is innocent...he loved children too much to hurt them.

What I find infuriating is when people say "We why'd he 'pay off' the family if he was innocent??" Never mind the fact that around  95% of civil cases are settled, huh?

First off, the Chandlers WANTED MONEY; they sued Michael. People are after $$$ when they sue. Why does no one ask "Why would they want his money if he was guilty? Why would they stop working with the authorities once they got paid?" Those are equally legitimate questions. And, NO, the settlement did not prevent them from testifying against MJ in court; it's written in the settlement.
The Chandlers hauled ass once they got paid and that was their choice. People act like he gave them money because he wanted to.
Also, realize that the father had come to MJ WEEKS before the police got involved and demanded that Michael pay him money or else he was going to accuse Michael. Michael refused to be extorted so, then the father went forward with his plan and extracted $$ through the legal system.

As a loving parent, I find it disturbing that these parents were willing to settle for money after the child was allegedly molested. There is no amount of money anyone could offer me to make me go away. All these parents wanted was money. As soon as they got it, they were gone. If anything, it reveals the innocence Michael claimed.

Michael Jackson was a once in a lifetime kind of person....we're lucky that we were able to witness his greatness as an artist.

I'd leave my children with Michael. And they'd probably not want to come home. Did you SEE Neverland. That place is something else beautiful! I agree with Whoopi. He was incredibly sheltered, living within the bubble of his world since he was tiny, none of that natural development, no normal interaction,no finding yourself, getting a tattoo, smoking behind sheds and on top of this he was part of one of the most restrictive religious groups since he was little as well. His view on the world must of been so stunted.High school usually knocks off your rose tinted glasses and you have a few broken hearts and a fight and you learn. After all the crap in the early 90s he started to become a bit more real, once he was introduced the hard way to the ways of the world. And how shitty people are. Especially when jealously, ambition and money is on the table. No Michael, WE ARE THE WORLD waves and it ain't pretty down here. He should of had more support. It was like watching a kitten being thrown into a crocodile enclosure.

Media back stabbed and broke the soul of MJ. But one day they will have to answer for their sin, everyone will see the true life of MJ on a screen in Heaven. MJ was the most beautiful person among artists in music ive ever seen. Im not a regular fan-type....I did not listen to his music before he dies....i have studied him, and i saw his soul, i saw the person before the artist. But even if i did not listen so much to his music, because when i saw him first he performed "Thriller" and it was not my type of music back then,....but later i have heard a lot....and i love him for everything he was.

As mother if any one molested my kid I don't take money for his  innocently  so it was a lie !!!! No real parents do that unless is a lie !!! Simple and clear

I loved that Whoopi protected his name. Hard times, these weeks after his death. She was one of the strong voices that helped make it a little easier, simply by standing up and reminding everyone that he was a GOOD person. When you are grieving, it is hard to hear horrible things about the person you love and lost. It doesn't matter if you were only a fan, you can still love truly and unconditionally.
