The little gabby pop up is always an amazing touch

eddie being OBSESSED with the pine cones is comedy gold

Him shaking the stuff in his hand is litterally my favorite bit ever, it's so stupid i love it

Eddie, you actually did get almost everything. There were a few smaller, more superficial details you missed but nothing relating to the story. The only "Alternative ending" is that either you don't make it in time, or when the helicopter comes you just... Walk back into the woods. And they leave you.

I kinda want to rant about this game because it's very close to my heart story wise. It's a game with 2 themes in it's story. The first is about life and problems. How you face them and deal with your trials and tribulations defines who you are. Henry is a broken man trying to pretend he isn't broken. Distract himself with work so he doesn't just fall apart. This is why he and Delilah do E-sex during the first time they see the Fire (which you definitely did btw it just doesn't show that part), or why they are so personal with each other. They are both fundamentally hurt and broken people just trying to not fall apart using any distraction possible. And by the end, Henry realizes (hopefully) that he can't just run away forever. He has to face his problems eventually. He has to go home to Julia and either cut things off truly, or stay with her in her hard times.

The other Theme however is one I think you missed Eddie. Not because I think you're dumb, but because it was working on you. Firewatch is actually not a horror game. Ned isn't actually HUNTING you, you ran into him on accident two times and after that, he's not actually following you. But you felt like he was. Delilah actually had nothing to do with anything. But you almost felt like she did. There was no conspiracy or anything. But you thought there was. That's because the 2nd theme of Firewatch is the idea of how much of a Demon Isolation is, and how much it wreaks havoc on your paranoia. There was never anything after you, no risks besides anything normal about the woods, nothing. But you were alone. The only thing close to a human connection you had was the other end of a radio, Miles away. Isolation makes you paranoid, frustrated, irrational and more. Firewatch is a cautionary tale for those who are isolated to always try to keep human connections. Friends, family, someone. Because that Paranoia will come for you. It always does. It may take different forms, but it will be there.

It's one of the most well written and voice acted games ever made IMO, maybe THE BEST Indie game (I'd Argue Coffee Talk and it are tied) in recent memory. And that's not because it feels good to play, but because it accomplished it's mission. Firewatch wanted to warn you away from isolation, both Physical and Social. And if it left you feeling good at the end or fulfilled, the Isolation would've led to some good even though realistically the only thing that kept most people sane during this game's more scary sequences is the hope that Delilah would say something to pull them out of the moment and calm them down.

1:04:31 this is so real seeing your cat and just immediately stopping everything and going to snuggle and what a cute little fluff baby you have

To be honest I genuinely don’t know how I felt throughout the game, I knew that Henry was already married and his situation with his wife is extremely rough. Delilah was also very humorous and kind and it definitely seemed like there was something between the two so having it end off with the way it did without mention of Julia was kinda heartbreaking😭

Henry's relationship with Julia had me bawling. 😭 Dementia is absolutely heart wrenching. Despite seeing it daily, it still breaks my heart to see a person fall apart and watch a family struggle with losing a loved one not just once but twice.

Right 4 videos in a row four full play throughs that are more then an 1 hour long what have we done to deserve this

still wakes the deep and this game are the best games i’ve really ever seen. i’ve never seen a better game than these 2 games.

2:16:03 The fact that Icactually got jump scared by the creeper is actually so funny to me😂

As long as you're doing emotional games you should check out "That Dragon, Cancer", It's such a powerful story.

IF I SEE ANOTHER “ONLY OG EDDIE FANS” OR “ONLY REAL EDDIE FANS ARE ALLOWED TO LIKE THIS COMMENT” IM GONNA HAVE A MENTAL BREAKDOWN

Teens:You're a creep!
Eddie:I'm not Dr.DisRespect!💀

Eddie just completely forgetting what he was doing is amazing

You asked if we like these full play throughs, I can't speak for everyone but I thoroughly enjoy them. I think it's a testament to the game developer (and you) that I can watch someone else play a game for 3 hours and be just as invested as if I were playing myself. I loved this video, I loved your Still Wakes the Deep play through (that one hit me pretty hard actually). Keep up the good work man. Love your content!

This is one of the best games I have ever played and watching Eddie play this is a whole new experience.
