Anyone in here 2026 I miss him so much

Every time someone like this comment I rewatch it

He died 8 years ago… I’m here again

did sound cut out for a short period of time a couple times for anyone else?

Annual everybody’s everything watch hitting hard this year

The last bit with his grandpa just crushes you. He finds all the right words and totally underlines the philosophical life peep has lived. and his impact on everyone.

It’s depressing af when your favorite artists from important points in your life pass. All I can think about is the amazing music we missed out on by them passing early.
RIP peep. 🕊️

It breaks my heart realizing im about to turn 21, as old as peep was when he died. I barely feel like an adult, tbh I still feel like a 16 year old trying to fit in adults life. Peep was already on world tour and had so much responsibility I couldn't imagine how overwhelmed he must have been. I think his label used this for their benefit because peep also never could say never and they forced him trough all these shows. Also his social anxiety must have gone wild during this time. Life is too short and the world we live in is a bad place, we can only try to be the best form of ourselves, make ourselves happy and be around people that love us. RIP peep, forever in my heart <3

What layla said, as a friend you’re too busy and too high to go check on him for hours and hours? But not too busy to do drugs and drink and chill and make videos? Nobody on that bus cared about him or loved him the way he did for them. They were just using him and it showed in the end. They let him sit there for hours and hours. Not one person checked. It’s so heartbreaking he was really as alone as he told us in his music he was. It’s so sad he couldn’t get away from those leeches.

11/1/25 his 29th birthday. RIP forever peep, we will never forget you 🕊️

he went to “sleep” & then 4 hours later his skin is grey & no one thought “hey, maybe sum ain’t right”?!?! wtf kinda BS is that??!!

In the letter his grandpa wrote, he kept repeating "Ask yourself"

I can only imagine Gus drew so much inspiration from that letter. It shows in the lyrics to Belgium.

People gifting him drugs are insane they all contributed to his death I hope they feel like shit forever, wtf

It breaks my heart to see him as a baby and child, he was so young and innocent. so cute

this never gets easier to watch, it still hurts the same every time. rest easy peep.

Gus’s “friends” who mooched & used, weren’t there for him emotionally & mentally & literally sat by idly during his demise will have to pay their dues someday. I hope they know that. I’m not blaming them for his death because they obviously didn’t force his addiction or make his choices, but influence is a big thing here I think. I really feel if they loved & cared for him they would’ve encouraged him to break away & grow in his career VS making him feel guilty if he didn’t allow them all to ride his coattail. I just won’t ever get over it & how alone he must’ve felt in his mind even when surrounded by so many yes men with their hands out. RIP Peep 🐥 🖤

That's really crazy that they still had him perform at that point and when the guy said "whatever you need, drugs, alcohol we'll get it for you." That breaks my heart. His grandpa is so sweet and made me cry. His mom seems like such a good person too. Aside from the relationship with his dad he's blessed to have a loving family. He seems very caring like he'd be nice to every person he came across 😢 I noticed doing the fashion show he looked happy and confident. Maybe that would have been a great career for him. We are still blessed to have his music and his memory will live on through his songs!!

Kinda messed. The one time he needed his friends they weren't around. Talk about ungrateful.

peep just needed someone who tell him the right thing to do

I think this documentary perfectly portrays who Gus was. A kind, smart, sweet and talented person. And he remained humble throughout all of it.
