15 years ago, i went to lollapalooza as a fan for the first time. being back as a headliner all these years later, the pressure was on to deliver one of the best shows we've ever done.
this vlog really shows the highs & lows of pulling off a production like this & how much of a team effort it is

this was the fest that inspired me to reach for the stars..
chicago, i hope i did u proud 🙏

I'm not saying you're showing us everything behind the scenes, but for what you can show and for what you are, thanks. This is inspirational asf.

This is so fuckin cool for the nerds of us that geek out on behind the scenes stuff. I love seeing John take charge of an entire crew and production and be very clear and direct with what’s not right and what he wants and then them responding and making it happen without any disrespect or butthurt feelings. A bunch of true professionals and masters of their craft.

say whatever u want about john, this man doesn’t fuck around and is a perfectionist. theres a reason he is where he’s at.

No joke, your lollapalooza set brought my husband out of his depressive episode. It’s all he listens to now. Surprising him with tickets for his bday for your ATL show!

People think DJ’s just get on stage and that’s a wrap. John shows us it’s a 40 plus hour a week job. 1 set prob takes John a week to make its Insane. Keep on keeping on John

Speaking up and pressing your show expectations.. when most artists have a full team that create every second, they do a run through and that’s it. Love that you’re involved in every single step and that you’re showing us the hard work behind everything, even if it is just the lighting. Forever fav dj

As a behind the scenes nerd this was everything! I was at this set (almost died in that crowd) and seeing it come together is so cool. I’m so glad everything went going according to plan for him because I know this show was personal for him. I hope little John is so proud of him 🥹 can’t wait to see him hopefully again soon 🤍

I really love all the technical behind the scenes moments you show us ❤ After all that work, for it to come out as planned must’ve been an INCREDIBLE feeling.
