After a nap and partially recovering from the sleepless night caused by the ferry journey, in the afternoon we are finally ready to go out and start discovering Palermo.
Our first stop is the Norman Palace, then we reach the magnificent Palermo Cathedral, where we also visit the crypt and climb up to the rooftops: from up there, the view over the city is truly unique and striking.
We continue walking through the historic center until we reach the famous Quattro Canti, also known as the Four Districts. During our walk we also visit the No Mafia Memorial, a place dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Mafia and to the history of the fight against Cosa Nostra, a subject that is inevitably very present when telling the story of this land.
Between visits, we also find time for a few slices of pizza and a nice cold beer. 🍕🍺
Then we get back on the scooter and return to the camper.
Our first day in Palermo ends with a wonderful impression: we really loved this city and still have so much more to discover!

We are Roberto, Rita and Davide, and we have been living and traveling in a camper since August 2019. 🚐❤️
Our adventure companion is an Iveco Mobilvetta Icaro S10, our home on wheels, with which we chose to completely change our lives.
Davide is now 14 years old. He is a very sweet boy who is curious about the world. He attended an online school, but decided to stop because he needed to spend time with people his own age and play sports.
In more than 7 years on the road, we have visited:
• much of Europe
• Morocco
• Turkey
• Thailand
• the United Arab Emirates
• Malaysia
• Indonesia
• Vietnam
• the Philippines
We left our home, sold our cars and completely changed our lifestyle to pursue a dream: to live freely, travel and discover the world every day.
We were tired of routine, imposed schedules and a life that no longer represented us. So we decided to leave everything behind and set off.
Today our life is made of:

🚐 freedom

🛵 spontaneous adventures
🏕️ nature and simplicity
We love traveling more than anything else in the world, and through this channel we want to share every emotion, every discovery and every little moment of our nomadic life with you.
