►Accidentally referred to those JP Ford Explorers as "Jeeps" the whole video. Sorry! "Jeep" is way easier to say than "Explorer" or "SUV"

Revisiting this Kill Count in honor of Sir Sam Neill suddenly passing away

Rest in peace sir and thank you for making me loved the Jurassic Park franchise

@dreadman666 2 months ago

Came back here today to pay tribute to the one and only Dr. Alan Grant. Rest in Peace Sam Neill. You will be missed greatly.

"Jurassic Park Kill Count"

Also known as James being gay for Malcolm for at least 5 minutes.

In my opinion, the practical effects in this movie are almost better than some CGI used today.

James freaking out over dinos is absolutely adorable.

Nobody ever tell me this isn’t a horror movie. I was so horrified watching this as a kid.

@Supasmartguy 5 years ago

This movie had Steven Spielberg, John Williams, Stan Winston, and George Lucas working together. No wonder it was such a hit.

@Emisop 6 years ago

Fun fact: Grant loved kids in the book. Spielberg added in the hating kids thing because of his own personal issues.

I actually met the guy who played Tim on a zoom call, Joe Mazzello, he mentioned that the velociraptor kitchen sequence was shot on his birthday and the one raptor on wheels knocked him in the head with its claw. Right after checking he was ok, Spielberg got everyone to sing happy birthday. Love that even years later the cast is clearly proud of the work they did on this film ❤️

I don't think you needed to justify it as a horror movie, yes it broadly fits into adventure but if movies like The Birds, Lake Placid, Jaws count as horror there is really little difference.

Hell you could even argue that the cup of water scene and raptors in the kitchen scene are just as suspenseful as anything in Jaws.
