this is lowkey the best video abt water decal. He 'showed' us how to apply it, how durable the decal is, and also the results after top coating.

6:20 You have that many defects in the gloss coat that it doesn't really matter anymore.

I think I'd prefer to use water incase I messed up and want to reapply it. A good top coat should make it stay anyways

Thanks for doing this experiment, the results are interesting. I think you can also use more mark setter on top if you dont have mark softer

This video hits just the target of my latest research. I am wondering if my waterslide decals, applied on a real motorcycle fairings, once top coated with a very hard clear coat (for automotive use), will stay still or detach in time with all the vibrations and bumping of riding. What do you think? Do I need a setter?
