Mick Schumacher having a higher vSCORE than his dad is one of the funniest possible outcomes of this system

Thai government sponsored elo system to put Alex in the goat debate

Its funny how Hamilton started with 1000 and after 7 championships he has 1007

Lowest ever Vscore is 2 time Indy 500 winner and winner of the Macau GP

Please never change Mr V

Mr. V's next video: I made an EVEN EVEN better Elo system for F1

You should normalize the quantityes eg: having a gap of 10 points when the max gap is 10 it's worth as much as a gap of 25 today

8:32 I always say that my ideal is to get pole with the minimum effort, and to win the race at the slowest speed possible - Alain Prost

How did this manage to be worse than the first system at ranking all time? 😂

"What is a team?" is a question that some "teams" on today's grid should try to answer :D

Having Colapinto, Hadjar and Hulkenberg in 5 ,6 and 7th place is just straight up fantasy, and I say that as an Argentinian. Maybe Hulkenberg in 7th is debatable due to his penchant for driving wheelbarrows, but having all 3 of them ahead of both McLaren drivers and Lewis Hamilton is just pure delirium.

7:45 me only hearing "penthouse rizzler plus" and being convinced v has lost his fucking mind

Oh. Ok. Carry on, my mistake

@11:50 verstappen knew ahead of time you would make this system and gamed it

With the release of F1 25 bringing reverse races, do I smell a 'Which current F1 track run backwards is best and is it better than the normal  way' tier list video?

RIP to the gnome.

Ideas regarding older seasons:
1. Multiply each race's point change by 20, then divide by the number of races in the season.
2. Adjust scores per race by considering the driver's average DNF % relative to their teammate and/or the rest of the grid.

Edit: Another potential idea: Consider which teams a driver should be ahead of/behind. For each car:
Should be ahead (by a lot):
Ahead: Gain points (not many)
Behind: Lose points (a lot)

Should be ahead (but not by much):
Ahead: Gain points (but not many)
Behind: Lose points (but not many)

Should be behind (but not by much):
Ahead: Gain points (a medium amount, for beating a rival team that should be beating you)
Behind: Lose points (but not many)

Should be behind (by a lot):
Ahead: Gain points (a lot)
Behind: No change

So for example, if Piastri wins a race, with Verstappen in 3rd and Norris 4th, but Hulkenberg gets a shock 2nd for perfectly timing a safety car, Verstappen would gain a decent amount of points for beating Norris, wouldn't lose that many to losing to Piastri, but would lose a lot for losing to Hulkenberg.

Ofc the nuance would be tough to figure out, but maybe it could work?

When you have an idea for a project and a video, it doesn't work, and you say sod it, we're going anyway. Respect.🤣

If you're taking car reliability into account, you don't need to just compare drivers against their teammates. The cars would have their own Elo and that would modify the expected results against the Elos of the other cars on the grid.

15:09 we cannot allow Tommo to see this information; it'll go to buddy's head

18:15 I think that not even for the actual grid, Bro Franco Colapinto is over Piastri, Hamilton and Alonso, that's clearly not OK

17:29 i did not expect that pyrocynical comment holy shit 😭😭
