I organized all this with 1 idea in mind, and then changed my mind upon further research in the midst of the video. Interesting research topic.
Y'all know this is just my opinion, Right? 6.6/10

note: @ 2:01 when I mention xyp9x as the highest, I meant to say highest I've seen on astralis iirc

Yeah, but who's the player that receives the most damage by bomb plants?

flusha was the guy using nades to mask his movement, and in his livestreams, he mentions always using nades before taking duels, the guy has always been my favorite player

Aleksib is known for being the nade king in recent memory, i check his nade damage per round in 2016, its 8.2. Big ass lol

aleksi also hit 10 grenade damage in 2021!

aleksib has 8.2 in 2016

tbf to cadian he was awping where most maps it was regarded as the meta to have him buy two flashes instead of a HE

flusha demo review in 2024

this guy has so much cultural impact it's insane

my teammates who buy full util just to never even glance at it.

FLUSHA IS THE GOAT! THE GOOOOAAAT!!!!

I love to see inferno where " car " is actually a car .

AleksiB had 8.2 nade dmg/round in 2016. Ofc less games though

Gambit also did a lot to revolutionise utility damage

Don't know about all time, but I will say Apex sometimes ends games on the top of the ADR chart with like 5 kills. Maybe it's just inferno, which would make sense - and maybe it's not so different from other B anchors, but for Apex the discrepancy between ADR and kills is just so high that it's more obvious.

I think flusha's style of holding onto HE grenades for longer has significantly more merit than you might think, especially with the new smoke mechanics in cs2. For example, if you have an HE in a retake situation, you could nade someone who you have info is low, and if it finds the kill, then the enemies will be missing someone who was previously holding an important angle. Not only that, but if you think it is more optimal, you can nade open a smoke to allow your team an easier entry option. I also think it would have been interesting to include the buying habits of these players, and seeing how much utility their team buys on noting that (most likely) the majority of these players are more likely to prioritize utility over armor or weapons. Either way, this video was really interesting!

In terms of utility usage 2017 Legija and gob b were also up there if I remember correctly, particularly with flashes. Back in the day all the other pros were copying their lineups

tabsen is the zywoo of utility

flushamad Senor VAC
crisp clean lock bois

JT had some pretty crazy flash stats when he was leading Extra Salt.

I thought it would be tabsen he was the only guy who would regularly pop the kobe booster in hltv fantasy. It was some crazy percentage compared to the others, I swear you'd get it almost every time on dust 2.
