Calling everyone dumbasses with a butterfly tattoo is a risky move

@luistrigojr.3729 13 hours ago

Comparing all time highs in an inflated market versus where prices should've been in the first place is definitely a choice.

The Gardevoir is a steal, wasn't aware it got so low, thanks Sam!

@KevinGreen91 12 hours ago

I’m happy the market is falling apart. It’ll be nice to see the real demand for modern soon. I know they’ve dropped but I really think Christmas season takes a massive amount of money out of the hobby and our real lows are around then

This is called people realizing en masse that it’s dumb af to be involved In a Child’s game as your wealth strategy

Ready for the slow grind to return.

If you just buy cards you love (buy 2 of each card you love). If the price drops it doesn't matter at all because you've got something you love. If the price goes crazy then that's also good because of you wanted you can sell one of them 😊

@pokepainter78 14 hours ago

Remember when LC BB were $40 and everyone thought set was trash . It's human nature to want to rip packs as time goes by and packs dry up well people want what they can't have especially if it starts going up in price

Imagine trying to prove to people that short socks are better than long socks when long socks are the fad or short shorts are better than long shorts when long shorts are the fad. There's not necessarily a rhyme or reason. Everything eventually flips Because Pokémon has turned into a market that chases pure opportunity.

Buying tf out of journey together ir's and sir's right now bought 3 of those salamences for under 40 dollars

Just keep some stuff sealed and laugh later

@sam_rules76 13 hours ago

I wouldnt call this a correction. Id call it a massive dip. The priced need to correct from where they are currently

The doom and gloom folks are all over the place right now lol.. As I've said on another channel, I'm an avid crypto investor and this has all the makings of - "BTC was too expensive at 127k and it needs to go lower" but as soon as it goes to 58k ppl are scared to buy, everything's crashing and it's never returning lol 😁 Ppl are their own worse hype man and critic. Line up to buy at the top and scared to buy at the bottom!! This is honestly why so many ppl lose in this game of life, regardless of the market.. Too many ppl follow the herd and get easily manipulated... They believe something can't - until it does - and when it does, they refuse to accept it lol...

@christianbazan9375 12 hours ago

just say you got no vintage my guy

@AttestedFire66 11 hours ago

Yes and no. Let's say there were 10m packs printed of an old set, back then that was alot, the amount of fans was lets say 5m, now pokemon is WAY bigger. They're printing 50m but the fans have also increase to 30m, so yes theres more but in the future it could be just as expensive as older sets... unless the amount of fans and the hype dies and theres lets say 15m fans... now that 30m packs is way more than demand.

I know thenumbers are arbitrary and not how this works but its a place holder example.

@gemhunter126 12 hours ago

How are you comparing pops of destined to an out of print set? Destined just had a crap load of stock dropped and likley there’s a massive psa backlog. 😂

I agree with the overall point but pops will be larger in current era vs swsh. I would rather buy psa 10 deals there while they are just as cheap. Like Dragonite V and Ray coming down.

@EpicDio 9 hours ago (edited)

Modern cards are not rare, they will go down, the prices that you see are just pumped by market speculation, sellers that sell to resellers that sell to resellers in an infinite loop, the collectors are not involved. A real collector is not going to spend 2k for a modern card in 40k pop that everyone owns if at the same price he can find a vintage card in 1k pop. Sell your modern, before the speculators leave the hobby and you remain the last stupid with the shit in your hands.

@nealjones7112 13 hours ago

There are still modern advocates - they want their heavy bags to go up in value. They ignored actual scarcity and rarity, and were convinced the modern cards were the way to go
