"You have no idea how lonely the old people are."

Nicole Mounsey has spent 7 years caring for people living with dementia. In this episode of Longevity Talk she shares the stories that stayed with her: the client who wanted to go out with a bang, the man at an expo whose eyes lit up over one simple game, and the gentleman who rang his daughter ten times a day because he couldn't remember he had already called.

Then she shows us what she built because of them. Love-Nicole is a simple tablet app for people living with dementia, with a one-tap family call button, photos, brain games, reminders, and one place to keep health information, medications and allergies, so a hospital or a new specialist can see it straight away.

We also talk about the caring wave coming for our generation, why grandparents and connection matter more than we think, and what Nicole does every day to look after her own brain.

This conversation shares personal experience and opinion. It is not medical advice. Please talk to your doctor about your own health.
