I love the idea of two explorers coming back with EXACTLY what the boss wanted and them going "Excellent, YOU'RE BOTH FIRED."

lol i love the buy page of the game

"Plus you get to see the game develop during beta, and even better, you get to make potentially life-changing medications* "

Then in really really tiny print at the bottom of the page

"*medications are entirely a virtual construct manufactured during a computer game. Actual value of medications is zero. Actual ability to cure real known problems is zero.Twice Circled and Positech Games provide no warranty as to the suitability of PC strategy games to cure diseases, real, virtual or entirely the figment of players imaginations. Do not play Big Pharma whilst operating heavy machinery. Consult your doctor before playing any other, lesser strategy games. terms and conditions may apply, they usually do, and nobody ever reads them. Your mileage may vary. Use as part of a calorie controlled diet."

My favorite part.

"terms and conditions may apply, they usually do, and nobody ever reads them."

"Spotted nipple wart" sounds like something you should get treated, not something you would treat people with.

Getting irrationally annoyed that one of the pill printers is inactive and Dan hasn't noticed yet...

Dan: "Not the ones you buy on street corners"
Me: Sorry, Walgreens :(

at the end you're making an antimalarial rash soothing painkilling viagra. One can only ponder the type of person who buy's such a thing...

i like how dan basically named his company "pillocks"

This video was released on June 9 2015 - I'm watching it on June 10 2024. Missed the anniversary by a day. Drat!

Nightmare fuel challenge?

Make a pill with 4 "Induces Nightmares" side effects, close to max strength as possible, from 4 different ingredients (You can't just shake one ingredient 4 times and mix them together)

23:12 Screaming at screen and pointing with finger "DAN, THE SECOND PILL MACHINE IS NOT CONNECTED"!!

I want a completes series of this.

Nerd³ Completes....Big Pharma? I think that would be an amazing series for several reasons. Firstly, in one of your Cities: Skylines, video you mentioned that with the complete's series, you'd like to do more creative games (i.e Lego Worlds). Big Pharma is that type of game. Everything is randomly generated, there are plenty of things to upgrade, research etc.

I think Nerd should make more hour long videos like this. Besides Skylines.

THE EXPLORERS FOUND EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED! Now. Onto business. You're fired

Should have called that multipill "The Rashcoughsky". You know. Like that guy in that GTA V heist.

"Thank you all for watching this incredibly long video, and turrah"
"Oh, Dan, it wasn't that long, it was just FIFTY THREE MINUTES!? WHAT!?"

This looks like the nerdiest game ever.

I love it.

this video is the definition of nostalgia

When Dan makes a mistake and you keep yelling at your computer...

2:40 "Nipplewort" ahh yes the world renowned Nipplewort which is famous for curing many a booby disease.
