Available from PM Model since the dawn of time, this Pioneer II tooling of the Sea Fury is often th only choice for modellers in 1/72 scale. Even though I am not one for vintage toolings I saw this and gave it a go. So enjoy!

Monogram kits from the mid/late 70s were very nice kits. They even had very good pilot figures!

Looks pretty good to me. Lack of flash and fit issues on a kit of this age is already a win in my book.

I made this kit as a kid ( in the early 2000s) it's a very durable kit i still have it. The propeller is the only thing that has lost a few blades

I built this kit last year in humbrol acrylics looking exactly like yours and very pleased with it despite being a basic kit. Easy to build. The prop blades have no twist on them but it doesn't really show.

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...... it's a Sea Fury. She looks good to me guv 👍🏻

As you say, it's the right Sea Fury shape. Probably best viewed from a distance. Sad to think kit standards like this were the norm and I used to think they looked the dogs' dangly bits.
Have a nice one....

All that masking puts me off airbrushing, I will stick with my hairy stick. Well tidy Sea Fury.

The Trumpeter kit is woefully inaccurate especially around the landing gear
