I met Giant Haystacks a couple of times in the 70s. Out of the ring, he was one of the nicest guys I have ever met.

I remember Haystack in the sixties. The c crowd  got insane.

These guys look like they stepped straight out of a legend, absolute monsters in the ring

This video is excellent. It highlights all the wrestlers that I saw and enjoyed back in the 80's. Thank you for a wonderful video.

I love this list show me more please

Big John Stud ran out of the ring when he pissed off Andre The Giant by using Andre's signature stepping over the top rope!

The 70s   George The Animal Steel on Saturday with my grandma all waving her arms and screaming at the TV is quite the memory. I was around 10-13 years old. Bruno San Martino was champ 🏆🥇

One of the best Videos related to the Wrestling /Enterteinment 🎉❤

I personaly had the chance to arm wrestle Andre. He was funny.

Sid Vicious still rules the wrestling world.

I saw Haystack and Jackie Fargo in person.

I met HULK HOGAN 1 time at Weight city gym in SSF CA before a Cow palace event aprox 43 years ago. I got to work out in the gym while he and other wrestlers were working out. Hulk was small compared to most of these guys. I am 6 .2 and I had to bend my neck  noticeably to look him in the eyes. The diameter of Hulks fingers were at least !/2 dollars as a  hand shake with him was like I only had 3 fingers. And when I would see close ups of Andre the giants hands next to Hulk was mind boggling .He told me he was always traveling either missing a meal or a work out or in the ring. I asked him (then how do you stay so big )? He replied (I am shrunk I am 330 pounds  I am usually 350). But the one thing Hulk had on all of these guys expecially back in the day Hulk was in better shape like a fit man at 230 pounds. He had 100 pounds of solid muscle on the average extra large man .I think he was 6.7 inches tall

Andre had it rough. He was so big and just kept growing. I remember when I first saw El Gigante in the WCW on TV.. I was a kid and that was the tallest guy I've seen in my life. He was like a tree. John Stud was also very impressive.. very massive and strong. I saw Sid outside an arena after a show once while I was waiting for my ride. It was easy to tell it was him even though it was dark. He turned around and walked the other way like he was either confused as to where he was going or simply thought I was a fan and didn't want any attention.

Let’s not forget the late great Blackjack Mulligan. ✌️

The Giants of old were like the one they're showing in the ring. Where  the people don't even come up to their ankles. Man not only feared Giants of that size but served them until the Giants began eating them.

Andre was my favourite giant he just had that giant look , his head was what made him visually, his face was that of a giant handsome but also intimidating!

Khali vs Andre Giant 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

To see these giants in person, is simply overwhelming, its like you disappear! Size is so relative.

M the only one didn't see yokuzuna or anyone else in tis video 🤔

Great video. I saw Haystacks Calhoun. He really played the crowd. In later years, when my nephews became wrestling fans, I took them to an event where Andre was on the card. The wrestlers entered the arena and walked right past us on the way to the ring. I can remember their voices to this day as they looked at me with wonder in their eyes. "Andre is huge!" Yes... Yes he was, towering over us making me look like a child next to him.

Big Daddy? Hulk Hogan was bigger at 6'8" in his prime and 320 pounds. I remember Hogan's early days and he towered over most wrestlers while manhandling them with superior size and strength.
