Coming over about ten years now to see the Reds play, yesterday has been the best performance I've seen them play, with Kay being the most exciting youngster during that time.

Yesterday was a brilliant result and brilliant performance. As has been mentioned, we finally have an identity back with how we play.

Larkeche is a good signing I think. I get the worries about how he comes back from an ACL but he says he’s done all pre season so hopefully it won’t take too long for him to get up to speed. I loved his interview, spoke with a lot of passion and positivity!

Absolutely need to keep Cleary now. This late in the window, the price is going up and up. It would be good to say to him “give us until January and see where we are. If we are nowhere, we won’t stand in your way but if there’s a chance of achieving something, maybe you can stay for that”. But I get players want to play at the highest level and earn more money.

Between now and Tuesday night, we still need a striker and I’m hoping with us signing both Larkeche and O’Riordan on loan, that leaves a bit of money available for a striker. A number 10 is needed for me as I’m not sure on Kelly in there. He played well yesterday but, over the course of a season, I’m not sure he’s got the end product for that. I’d rather see him picking the ball up deep and driving with it. I think I’d possibly get in a centre back too. I know Kay can cover there now we have Larkeche but I still think we are a bit thin. It will certainly be an interesting few days!

For Blackpool at home, I will go 2-1 reds.

We’ve got our 3rd striker alongside Farrell and Kirk as well as Larkeche as left back so at this moment in time, I can’t really criticise the board for the efforts they’ve made and support given to get the right type of players for Stendels system. 👍👏

Well stedl is working his magic coyr

Great show as always R.A.O.

Absolutely fantastic result against leyton orient, all the players did me and all of Barnsley proud on Saturday with that outstanding, phenomenal performance. Our players couldn't have done anymore and that's all we ask for✊🏻✊🏻👏🏻.

If we can keep playing and perfoming  like that we might get somewhere this season. I dont want to jynx it , but playing like that and perfoming with that positive attitude might get us near the playoffs or fingers crossed 🤞 make it actually into the playoffs , I don't want to get too far ahead of myself just yet though.

It's great to see (we) Barnsley FC have made history again signing our first Ivory coast player and even thought its a different league to league one where he recently was playing in ligue one in the French 1st division , he looks like he might be a upcoming,  talented striker , only time will tell with how he performs for us, but I believe he might turn out to be a big future prospect scoring quite a few goals to his name . Like I already mentioned as ligue 1 is a different league from the efl league one it will be a different challenge for him , but will be great to see him perfom and successfully succeed for (us) Barnsley FC ,that might turn out to be a good player for us to sell in the future.

As for our game at home tonight, I think it will be another intense, tight match as we both respectively and convincingly won at the weekend , but I'm hoping they play Josh Earl so he can slip up for them a couple of times in defence to allow and gift us a couple of goals against Blackpool . Which will help us gain our first home win at Oakwell this season. I'm predicting a 3-1 home win tonight.

Come On You Reds BFC 🐶❤️🔴⚪️⚽️.

Great performance and gives me hope for the future!
Last time they conceded 3 at home was against us in February 😊

I was in Scotland at the weekend and watched Stranraer 2 Celty Hearts 0 they have a striker Lewis Dobbie ex Celtic academy reminded me of Wayne Biggins would be worth a punt but more so Zach Bruce on loan from Hibs attacking midfielder and also Daniel McManus and a defender Dunne. They were very impressive.

We always said we would back a battling team  we have always been the underdog. Was not a great start but we grew into the game and had more stammer. The more the game went on the more we overran them.

What a team performance! This team are surprising me as the signings we’ve made apart from McGeehan haven’t played at this level or have very little experience… As Jayne says ‘in Stendel we trust!’ I’m not getting carried away at all as it’s way too early but even the Bromley game was encouraging as we created so many chances, now we’re scoring then who knows what could happen this season? O’Riordan looks a commanding, comfortable cb. Blackpool will be a tough test, looking forward to it. 2-2.

Really enjoyed Saturdays game, we played very good.
We have a very young squad so I dont expect that we will play that good every week, believe that it will be different standards on our performances this season. It will be a real test on Wednesday but am hopeful, go for Andy special, 2-1 Barnsley.

Best performance in absolutely years. What really impressed me the most was we scored then looked for a second, then looked for a third and a fourth and we'd have probably gone for a fifth had we got one.

The defenders look a massive upgrade on MDG and Earl. Who I've said previously I thought were terrible defenders.

Midfield looks far more balanced with McGeehan and Bland IMO.

We have pace everywhere across the park for the first time in living memory.

Noslin looks like he'll develop into a great player and all the academy lads look like they'll step up into the first team and play a part. I think we used 6 of them on Saturday. Kay and Ravenhill especially looking like they'll play at a higher level than L1.

Hopefully we keep Cleary. If we keep him and get a few more bodies in I think we can make a genuine play off push. Not sure about the new striker we've signed, smacks of a Clem Rodriguez Mark 2.

We all hoped that under Stendle he would get the backing of the owner's. We all know what Stendle can do with youngster's and fitness. One thing I have noticed this season when we have scored the captain is dragging EVERY outfield player to the celebrations.
Reds1 Blackpool 2

Great show think we're all happy with the result yesterday everyone played well think Cam will be the signing of the summer for us a true leader on the pitch Kirk man of match for me thought he was outstanding Tues I'll go 2-1 reds win

Excellent result yesterday 😁 fab show as normal and 2-2 v Blackpool on Wednesday. Think we'll keep Reyes and get surprise striker in. All very positive 😊

I was gonna go for a 1-1 draw but I just feel something special brewing, Olivia and myself are both say 2-1 reds win emzy is saying 1-0 win and Aalaya is saying a 3-1 barnsley win.
YOU STENDEL REDS!

I completely agree with everything said about yesterday. I watched the full match back this morning and Jayne is right, Sue was there, SUE PERB!

Craig spot on 10million is the bare minimum for cleary, I dont think kelly is a 10 but one praise I have for him in particular was for our first goal, Kelly's movement and fakery made the space for cleary to get on that ball, it was truly sublime to watch.

Dean said it all, our 2 center backs look like they've played a full season under Stendel.

I think its the first game ive watched since Duff season where I didnt feel like a hand grenade was going to explode in our box.

all in the eyes, O'Riorden makes the opposition seek an excorcist.

A slight note of caution: We beat them 3-1 in London 6 months ago as well, McGoldrick got a hat-trick, so it's not like we did something we couldn't have done last season by any means. Their fans were saying they looked like a relegation team 6 months ago and they're saying the same things again now.

What's positive is that I think we were much more dominant yesterday versus the match 6 months ago. I remember them having a goal disallowed, and I remember them having one or two chances that they might easily have scored. I don't remember us bossing them like we did yesterday, but the scoreline was exactly the same.

It was good, and you could make a good argument to say we should have 9 points. It's all very encouraging. I said somewhere yesterday that if Stendel gets a tune out of this squad, gets them to the point where they look as good as anyone else in the league whether they get promoted or not, and does it THIS SEASON, then I will put Stendel down as our best manager ever. I don't care how premature it would be. To get the club points record his first season and then to make this team competitive somewhere near the top when we all thought we were in for a thoroughly depressing season, to find players out of nowhere like Arley Kay, Alker, Farrell, Ravenhill, you could go even deeper to some of the young lads on the bench yesterday like Town, and make them into instant League One/upper League Two level players then he's the best we've had in my opinion.

Barnsley 3 Blackpool 1.   Feel much more optimistic for this season that I have done for a few years. We are bound to have some poor results but if we show the unity we have now going forward, then we could have a chance of top eight this season.

Great performance and result, we were very unlucky opening game against Bromley and anyone at that game could see despite the no striker crisia, Daniel was starting to have an affect in the style of play. He will be successful again there is no doubt given patience backing and time let's pack Oakwell out every home game
