Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator are evolving faster than ever — but not randomly.
SCS Software is following a clear long-term master plan.

In this video, we break down where ETS2 and ATS are really headed, why ETS2 may expand beyond continental Europe into regions like the Caucasus, Asia, and Africa, and how ATS is growing north into Canada — with possible future expansion toward Mexico and beyond.

If this game is still around in ten years, I hope my pc will still play it.

It is true, American truck simulator has it easier to expand without having to change its name since America isn't just the US, its the whole continent

Love that SCS, slow and methodical approach to releasing content, is perfect as the treats and development, as proven that time really show that it was worth all the time we wait for content and it is always a joy for me to drive and be wowed at ever corner, from amazing work from every one in SCS

I love how you just ignored the massive issue of mapping the east coast of America in ATS at the current scale

It would be amazing — especially if the development moves at a good pace, because our lives are heading toward old age and the challenges of life give us less and less time to play!
It would also be great if Iran were added to the map, because Iranians are passionate fans of European trucks, and Iran is a nation that loves the world of trucks and cars more than any other country!

I wonder if they will play around with the game's name after that

At the border between North America and South America, Panama and Colombia, there is the Darién Gap swamp, which makes it impossible to connect these two continents by road

Will Alaska be part on ATS down the road as well

These are the same reasons why you can play as Japan in "Europa" Universalis

Let's merge ATS and ETS into WTS (World Truck Simulator) then sell 1 DLC per country ;)

Would love for my truck to get dirty on the road then wash it, changes in seasons, trucks parked at fuel stations getting fuel, more realistic feel to the game
