The man who was the mastermind behind his brother-in-law’s murder was sentenced to life without parole. Tuesday morning, Charlie Adelson briefly spoke in front of a Florida judge stating, “I just wanted to say that I maintain my innocence” before the judge sentenced him to spend the rest of his life behind bars. Adelson hired three people to kill Dan Markel. At the time of his murder, Markel was in a brutal divorce and custody battle with Adelson’s sister, Wendi Adelson.

An innocent father murdered, 2 families destroyed, several people in prison only because one entitled brat hated her ex-husband and didn’t want the children to be loved by him and his family. That is the real devil.

Now bring his sister to justice

Imagine having a college education. High paying job. Plenty of money. And throwing it all in a trash can to kill someone instead of just being an adult. Wow

The only bad part of this is it took 10 years to get him. He should have been in prison 10 years ago.

Judge giving him 597 days credit served on a life without parole + another 60 years after you get killed in prison is diabolically hilarious. Well done by the judge for keeping a straight face

Life without parole PLUS 60 years. Goodbye Charlie. We will all forget about you now. Justice served

Do you know the FIRST thing I thought about whle watching the beginning of this video? Charlie Adelson was earning $3.5 million per year in a very successful periodontal practice. He had a luxurious condo with a Porsche and a Ferrari. He played with swimsuit models while eating at the best hot spots in Miami. Due to ONE horrific decision from his ego and hubris, it's all over. I will be driving to Walmart later today to purchase a bag of cat food....he would now consider that a dream life.

The moment when you realize you should have actually bought your sister a TV instead of a hitman

The only thing that would warm my heart more than this, is hearing this sentencing for WENDI because she was absolutely involved.

He destroyed his life completely for his sister, by killing the father of his nephews unable to understand the stupidity of all the involved.

Charlie and his EVIL rich family thought they were untouchable! These people make me sick.....murdering a man over child custody!

So much for the high priced defense lawyer. Police and Prosecutors did an amazing job on this case.

Oh, Donna and Charlie: You wanted relocation, you got relocation.

That moment when you realize that it would have been cheaper and less punitive to get your sister to see a therapist to help her deal with co parenting and the after effects of being spoiled and entitled.

Remembering how Charlie and his lawyer were smirking and talking with each other during the prosecution's closing, it is satisfying to see him receive consecutive sentences and the life without the possibility of parole is wonderful. The prosecutors in this trial were just outstanding!
