Man, before I saw Bosch’s installation instructions, I honestly thought installing a dishwasher was just a matter of hooking up two pipes and plugging it in. The manual that came with it was absolute garbage—might as well have been written in hieroglyphs. You really saved my day, thank you!

I have installed my new Bosch Series 4 today (2026) and they now give you a strip of sticky back plastic to protect the wooden worktop from moisture instead of a metal plate.

Andy, ur a star you are absolutely right, the instructions to install a Bosch integrated dishwasher are abysmal!! I was sitting there with a confused expression, till I discovered your excellent video, it was even the same model, that I was struggling with, I am now and enthusiastic subscriber, and just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for helping a very confuse Scotsman!! OMG. My new Bosch dishwasher arrives tomorrow and, having removed to old (now defunct) AEG machine, thought fitting the new one would be a doddle. Then I downloaded the installation instructions and my heart sank. This brilliant video has meant that I'll sleep peacefully tonight, confident that I'm up to the task. Thank you so much.👍😃

Thanks for that video Andy. It's important to get the front feet partly out before pushing the dishwasher into place, as they are very tight and difficult to turn once it's in the slot!

I just want to say thank you for such a detailed step-by-step video to go through the installation process. I have a Bosch integrated dishwasher and handleless kitchen and I have been using my dishwasher without the door and fixngs for half an year. There are so many unncessary things in the manual and it is way better to see a video like this to explain all the parts and steps.

I have completed the installation last night and it looked perfectly aligned now. No more eye sores and stepping to keep the door open!

The original instructions seem useless at first, but they actually provide QR codes with videos for each step. And the videos perfectly explain the process.

I'm currently fitting my own kitchen with no experience.

I unraveled the instructions for my dishwasher door and thought i had it upside down about 3 times lol Thank god for your video, so helpful and so professionally done - Life saver! Thank you!
