4:38 intentionally adding them to your commentary LMFAOO funny asf 😭😭😭

You’re really on a run.

4:39 did you add a smoke detector cherp or am I tripping?? 😂😂

I love how Matty gives credit to inspirations

On Aeorosmith's sweet emotion, you hear the vibraslap breaking

I've heard Sting laughing on Roxanne, but didn't hear the piano and always wondered what he was laughing at.

One of my favorite mistakes is "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt. He comes in with "My life is brilliant" almost 4 bares too early and they just left it in.

On Juice WRLD’s Empty he means to say “but there’s no me in team” but he says “there’s no e m in team” , I’m guessing he was free styling on the beat instead of writing lyrics then singing on the beat but he adds onto his mistake and says he’s still the free style king or he did this on purpose

3:37 that wasn’t even a real mistake 😭😭😭 that was a sound efx in the beat to transition a drop

2:13 my stupid ahh thought thats akon

13:51 The tune is literally called ”Love Roller Coaster”… What do most people do on rollercoasters? Correct; scream. It’s just a rollercoaster-cart speeding by, like they’re recording this song next to an actual rollercoaster. It ain’t that deep.

Most of these are not mistakes btw. Usually they’re deliberate stylistic choices.
- The clipping on 3:23 is a random vinyl-crackle sample that’s put in the project to mimic that vinyl aesthetic.
- The lyrical “mistake” at 9:08 can also be interpreted as him being in different big cities travelling the world, like how Pitbull usually names a few cities like London and Tokyo before blasting some thought provoking lyrics. Or are those mistakes too?
- 2:25, this sounds like an accident turned into a pre-drop vocal. Which means he had to recreate & produce that moment after recording, and mix it together so it’ll sound good. Which means it’s not a mistake.
- 2:33 isn’t that just a thumpy kick to signify the start of the chorus? I usually purposely add those small things just for the singer or rapper to hear when a new part in the arrangement begins.
- 2:54 it’s a heavily edited and reversed snare/clap sample. It’s basic production shit literally everyone uses lol. If you mean the ticks, they’re meant to be earcandy using percussion sounds.
- 3:04 same here
- 3:10 this is comparable to the “yeah”-yell in ”Sophisticated Black Citizens in Paris” that’s all throughout the song. In here it’s just not looping like it is in the track stated in the previous sentence.
- 3:29 this whistling-/eagle-like sound could be anything. As it’s throughout the track, it could be: A downfilter, a replacement for an alarm-sample that’s used often, a loop that’s cut and only played here

Love the content though and you’re looking good and slim brooo 🫶🏻

Reminds me of B.O.B on Nothin’ on you where he says “You’re my Wonder Woman, call me Mr. Fantastic”

9:18 Bro just giving us pop quizes in his videos now 😭💔✌🏾🙏🏾

If you listen paper planes it sounds really cut up throughout the whole song not just that part listen at the end of every bar

If mattyballz is the main channel and mattysquared is the second then squareballz should be the third channel

There’s also the notorious squeaky bass drum pedal in Since I’ve Been Loving you by Zeppelin, and in Out On The Tiles you can hear Jimmy Page say “stop” at the beginning of the second verse, apparently he started playing the wrong chord progression and was telling the engineer to stop the track, but he didn’t hear him and they kept it in the song 😄

12:05 copyright gotcha 🤣🤣

Funny how you made a mistake when you said “on 300 by Kanye West”

not sure if anyone has pointed this out but there's a slight comp error in Defying Gravity (end high note) and a few comp & tuning issues in Popular (mainly the chorus) from the movie version of Wicked

1:53 Same thing happened with Backstreet Boys, I Want It That Way

youll be suprised at how many flaws can be turned into featutes the best ones tend to come from when you dont have any other option
