Everything in the shop should be half of its current price, as a baseline.

The rough part is that titles are AWFUL to grind out, like genuinely awful for the highest tier if you have anything near a full time job.

Removing the mythics and overwatch coins is absolutely disgusting and such a disgrace.

The fact that they replaced gold and prism slots with 250silver coins only just adds to the insult, like come on... Had they put purple boxes at the very least it would've been 10 times better

Giving us the chance to finish off old Battle Passes we weren't able to complete at the time is genuinely appreciated. On the other hand, though, charging the same price for old passes that they were at the time but only having half the content is absolutely a scam!

I think if they included 80 Mythic Prisms they would be actually worth 1000 Gold Credits, cuz you still gotta work for them when you get the old pass

I actually got flamed on Reddit for saying this shit is way too overpriced for what it is...
I mean, I’d gladly pay 1,000... IF I could get at the very least the mythic prisms. Right now, we’re paying 1,000 for souvenirs and some genuinely ugly-ass skins nobody asked for.

Not having the titles is kind of a bummer, but I do get the reasoning behind it, so... while I'd love to get some old titles, I understand why they aren't available and I'm cool with that. But also I DONT CARE if anyone else can get the title i work so far for.. I mean, they still have to reach lvl200 for the title.. So, i dont really care.
But the rest? Nah... just pure ol' Blizzard scam moves bro.

AT the very least give us more lootboxes to progress our 20 hard pity.. Idk man.. Blizzard as always, great ideas but awful implementation, Simply not worth it right now.

that percentage off is illegal in Brazil and Australia

I genuinely hate the monetization of modern games, I would much rather pay for a game, then having it for free and having to deal with crap like this

The sadness is from how bad the battle pass rewards are. I looked back because I stopped playing right after OW2 launched and didn't come back until April this year. At best, I found 1 skin and 2-4 non skin items I actually wanted per battle pass.

The battlepasses I completed but didn't premium I didn't even want anything I missed

As somebody who took a long break from the game and only came back this year - the price is a bit painful, but being able to get battle pass cosmetics for my mains I missed out on is still a huge upgrade from them being locked away forever. I don't care about the currency or mythic prisms that much because if I wanted some I would just buy a present battle pass. I'm aware they make the unvaulted value awful compared to normal passes, but i'm not suprised at all that they made that choice, to make sure people still get some fomo. Like even if I just really want two skins from the pass and rest of cosmetics is whatever, it's still a better price than skins in shop. Replacing currency with credits is laughable tho, nobody wants that, they could just skip these tiers and it would be perfect 😭
I keep seeing ppl saying "if i didn't buy the pass back then bcs I didn't like the skins why would I do it now", well... the target audience for these is clearly new and returning players who weren't there to buy these passes and want the skins, it's a huge % of the playerbase currently, easy $ for blizzard

I think they should just get rid of fomo battle passes and just have old school content and unlocks.

I almost can't buy the individual skins anymore, everything is getting more expensive and we're just trying to survive somehow. I don't know if blizzard only wants to whale hunt these days.

The are not a scam if they tell you everything upfront.  They still want value for people getting the passes on time, and what of the people who bought the pass but only did 1 level?  If it's 1000 credits originally, and it comes back to them to complete, it would be unfair. "Hey, I bought this pass at $10, but couldn't play Overwatch, and now, everyone else only has to pay $5!"  I've gone up to at least level 80 on every battle pass, so it does nothing for me personally.

Everythings a scam in OW2. Unvaulted passes, no titles or coins, skins only for the favorite heroes. Expensive Mythic skins. Expensive Mythic weapons. Ultra skins. Legacy coins have no purpose. Heroes used to come out with 3 highlight intros and 4 legendaries and 2 epics and now only come out with the blue recolors and a legendary you have to buy the premium 40 dollar battle pass to unlock and only 1 highlight intro unless youre jetpack cat and get none. The games nothing but a cash grab the last few years and the quality is drastically dropped sadly

They would sell 4 times as much, if they halved the price of everything compared to now. Meaning more money for them.., but it's Greed..
Sad thing is that they aren't smart enough to figure that out.

10 bucks for a battle pass is the only thing that feals reasonably priced in the game. Everything else is just insulting. If this wouldn't work, then Blizzard wouldn't be doing it. I've seen players walk around with those skins, so clearly someone is buying them.

As a free to play player (been playing since 2017 or 18), and a job where I can be away from for weeks at a time, the only reason to grind these days at all for me is to gather enough gold coins - to unlock the battle pass - to unlock mythic prisms - to unlock a mythic whatever. This update literally does nothing for me, or any free to play player. There's nothing extra to work towards.

I don’t see why people are upset over this.  Even without the mythic coins, it’s still 5-7 legendary skins, along with other goodies(including white coins for more legendaries) for only $10.  Considering they sell other singular legendaries for $19, this isn’t really that bad.

Expecting to get all of the stuff you got during its actual season is silly.  There has to be some kind of incentive to continue playing all the time, which is what battle passes are for.  They fact that they are even allowing you to go back and earn the other stuff should make people happy

i don't think it'd bother me if they replaced it with a 50/50 split of loot boxes and legendary loot boxes, or just a lesser amount of overwatch coins or prisms?
