In this exclusive in-depth interview, Chris Motionless from Motionless In White spoke to us about how the band built a cult-following, selling out their most recent UK tour, and how they overcame some of the biggest struggles as a band to be as successful as they are today.

Chris shared how things used to be in the early days, cramming into freezing vans and how surreal it feels now to be doing these full-scale production shows in Europe. He also talked honestly about the pressure artists are under these days, and how staying real - both musically and emotionally is something he won’t compromise on.

He also talked about the current progress of their new album, what it was like for Motionless In White to perform at WWE's Wrestlemania for Rhea Ripley, advice for new bands, and thoughts on Sleep Token headlining Download Festival 2025.

Chris... challenges are part of growth and evolution. Good that you look back on them with grace and understanding, because it's all part of your success. Your humility and compassion is what keeps fans around, as well as your talent. Keep your head up, stay strong- you have support. Just know that you're loved and you have people to rely on. I'll remind you again- take your time, your steadfast fans are here to stay. Good luck in the studio.

I started to truly listening to MiW in Jan this year and oh dear Lord, I was taken aback. I was blessed as I managed to buy a ticket for the London show on FB as it was sold out. I met lovely people while queuing for 4 hours (me thinking 4 hours would take me to the barricade- did not but close enough :)).
I love the fact that MiW gives out roses in their shows to the fans and in the London one, they also gave out candy. I felt that was such a kind move of them. Me and my friend, who I met queuing in February, will be flying out to Budapest in June to see MiW again.
I wish MiW much health and may they achieve their goals. x

Huge MIW fan! My husband went to a lot of concerts in 2023 and Motionless was, hands down, the best out of all of them. They sound just as good live and they do on their records. Their crown interaction, the stage effects, the backup dancers; all of it was incredible!
