Thanks for the shoutout ; ) I enjoyed the video. Sure it had elements taken from Jacob's now viral video, but it was different enough that you made it your own.

I could have corrected some of the details that were wrong in Jacob's video which you posted in this one, like Pikol wasn't using tools, rather his emulator would glitch Wander to crazy heights and then he could use the parachute to glide down onto some unseen area, even getting all the way to the dam. Also, it was Pikol who first discovered the beta mountains (which Jacob said was my discovery). But I did extensively explore the lands and made maps, some of which you have showcased here (but Pikol didn't help me with this). As I'm a graphic designer this just felt like a natural thing to do.

In fact it was WWWArea (now SpaceOmega5000) who taught me all I know and was responsible for many new discoveries, but he is never mentioned in any videos which is a shame, as he was as prominent as Pikol to the Secret Seekers.

Although I did speculate where some of the discarded colossi might have been, in the end and in light of new information, I was wrong on every count! The LBS forum thread actually ended in March 2016... but by that time nearly no one was posting anymore and it could take many months between posts. But as you said... it did die! I started my blog posts in April, 2011 to continue my deep dive into this amazing game and it was these (and to a much lesser extent my videos) that Bluepoint used when remaking the PS4 version. BTW: There are actually 79 'stone steps' that lead you down to the throne and the sword - and I'm glad you didn't call them 'coins' as they are not coins - this was a fan made name for the 'enlightenments'.

Fumito rlly hurt my heart as a teenager saying there was a last secret to discover in that damn interview just for us to discover there was no secret at all....

I can not believe I happen across this video! As Nomad can attest to, my son Will "Ascadia" Stroup was the one who planted the idea of there being secrets to the SOTC game. He played and searched for years. Unfortunately, Will passed away before the remake of the game came out. He would have LOVED it!! So glad to see that the secret seekers are not forgotten in the gaming world ❤ It was quite an adventure! Nomad, glad to see you here!!!!

Idk if it was Nomad or Max but one of them did find out besides the cut-known colossi we know of that there was another gecko/lizard colossi that was scrapped aka Kurokami B. I think the message is still in the database saying it was a “twin”.

This videos skips over WWWareas involvement when scouting the OOB areas. He was also significant but then Nomad took it to another level. I think WWWarea’s YT is SpaceOmega5000 now.

While maybe nothing too significant,  there are still new things to try & discover even after 20 years.  2026 marks the 20th anniversary of the game in the U.K. & the 25th anniversary for "ICO".   If we're lucky we might just get a remake of "ICO" & a 4th release of S.O.T.C. with new extras (in the form of a bundle perhaps like the PS3 remaster) to celebrate the occasion.  Let's keep our fingers crossed.  Nice video/discussion.
