given the lyricism of Kendrick, I'm glad they've been able to dissect and understand the message of his songs, and not just to vibe

@MiaRose02 1 year ago

Nah the fact they didn’t use the second part of DNA is criminal, that’s the best part of the song

Am fascinated by the korean understanding of hiphop 😂😅 glitter, glamour is a by product true hiphop is about self expression, black struggle outlet and the people's ❤voice

Finally some Kendrick Lamar, greatest of all time!

@HyperAB 1 year ago

im glad they were able to understand and dissect the lyrics. theres a lot of misunderstanding about hip hop being about glitz, glamour and riches. true hip hop is a form of self expression, struggles and coming back up. making people hear your voice is the most important aspect about rap music and that's why K-Dot is 1/1.

I kinda wish they got a bit more details about kendrick about his background like on some older videos. It might help give perspective and inform a more thorough understanding. I really enjoyed the video overall and it was nice and i felt like everyones reactions were great

She said: ' The more I understand it, the scarier it feels ' 😂😂😂😂That's why we call Kendrick the boogeyman. 😂

lol I found it soo funny when she said the lyrics to swimming pool was scary when Korea is literally known for having a very insane alcohol drinking culture

@elbruces 1 year ago

"I just copied the dance..." Holy shit, Kendrick had them c-walking in Korea, lol.

12:12 no that's not how it SHOULD be that's how it CAN be. Even after hearing all these other Kendrick songs you guys still think hip-hop is just one thing?

@iiTzoreo1 1 year ago

I feel like this is the first video I’ve seen of Koreans understanding what hip hop can be/should be. They see the pop side of hip hop cause it’s the most popular

@yy10_midori 1 year ago

for anybody stuck with the shitty audio you gotta change the audio track in the video settings

@clairefran1626 1 year ago

“This is how hip hop should be” everyone saying they all got it, but those guys didn’t

@leseulgian 1 year ago

I really like how you guys put explanations for some of the references in the lyrics now. I think its probably really helpful for people who dont know the references so the lyrics actually make sense even if they dont understand all of it. :)

“Fact that so many people are siding with this track, means someone really messed up” reacting to not like us. 😂 sums it up

Finally about K-Dot after so many requests 🎉

i really love how easily they were able to catch his message, esp since theyre not obvious hiphop fans. they understood his stories even thru translated lyrics, thats how good kendrick is. i also really appreciate when the dudes said kendricks rapping is very clear, rap haters love shouting "theyre talking to fast to understand/enjoy" but talented rappers have great enunciation

@kino1860 1 year ago

I’m glad they kind of can see that Hiphop is much deeper

@Charizard215 1 year ago

"It's such a good song that it feels like art." It IS art.

i wish you would have featured mv’s from To Pimp A Butterfly. It is regarded as his best album and even one of the best albums of all time to many. It’s a little frustrating how little these reactors seem to understand hip hop beyond their assumption that it’s all flexing and hype. That is also why it was nice to see their understanding of some of the songs they had heard change when they had the lyric translations.
