The amount of work you have to do at all times, everywhere at once, seems overwhelming.  I love the way you prioritize and are so flexible.  What a huge undertaking for two people!  The love and care you have for your chateau and your animals keeps me coming back for every single video.  Oh, what the heck’ we all know it’s for Amanda’s sense of humor! 😂❤

Happy Birthday to the invisable daughters!

Look at you, almost 40,000 subscribers! We like you because you are so funny, so down to earth and hardworking. We can easily relate to you. Although I get awfully tired watching you work so hard. I think I need a nap😊

JFYI, just because the apple tree has fallen over doesn't mean it's dead, just use straps to put it back and leave posts to stabilize it and it will recover. We have done that several times and the trees still lives, the lase one fell over more than 15 years ago and it's one highest producers of fruit.

I love your sense of humour Amanda, and Lincoln is so in tune with you💜💜💜

The donkeys laying down at the end of the day was just precious.

Your videos are always a joy to watch. The French countryside is so beautiful. Your improvements to the house and grounds preserve an important  history. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing your journey.

I watch on YouTube once a week a Dutch man who bought a farm high in the mountains in Italy.  He’s converting two small stone cottages into his home.  He purchased a machine that squirts the lime mortar into the cracks and crevices of all the interior stone walls.  Tedious but it was much faster than using a trowel.  The mortar squirts out of a tube and gets deep into the crevices, and he used a trowel to remove drips.  Just a thought.   I can’t believe your daughters have the same birthday two years apart.  That’s quite amazing.  Happy Birthday to them.  You must be very exhausted after a full day outside.  So much work, but I believe you love it!!  xx

I feel so bad about your walls! And you are right, you can’t lose them!
I can’t believe both your girls share the same birthday! I have never ever heard of that!
❤❤❤❤❤
You guys are just the best! We all care about you, we are a loyal bunch!!

We had a giant owl for years on our property.  He was huge, like 3 1/2 feet tall.  When we went out with the dogs at midnight he would stand in the grass as if he wanted to hang out with us.  Our older dog is blind and the younger one grew up seeing him.  We had an understanding among us.  I have not seen him in about a year and I’ve missed him.

I honestly don't know how you get the strength to go on. Everywhere you look, there's a big job. But you two get up everyday and tackle another one. Very impressive.  Love your videos.

You must be the fittest folks in France!  I love your dedication to all of your projects.  I hope the walls hold firm!

I think those apple trees need to be trim yearly to keep the wind from blowing them so hard.

Enormous amount of work!! I live on a smaller farm and sometimes, very rarely, wish that I lived on the 25th floor of an apartment building!!! No mowing, weeding, sowing, watering, harvesting, cutting and a million other jobs that just spring up!!! But then the tomatoes, the lettuce, fresh eggs  and fruit and my grandkids running around, make me forget the strenuous routine of farm life.

I am no expert but I think it would be a good idea to remove the ivy and any other vines from the wall.

My dad and his sister were born the same day 3 years apart 26 August 1931 & 1934 , and died on the same day 3 years apart 21 Feb in 2011 and 2014

If you need to repoint or lime or whatever to your wall you can give the job to your offspring.  We had our 3 put preservative on our long split rail fence years ago, and our daughter still refers to her summer of torture.  Hey,it built character!

I can't believe I only just found your channel! Believe me, it's not for lack of searching for this kind of content. It just never came up for me in search. I'm glad I found it though and have been binge watching. Great fun and really enjoyable watching

Leaving the Bay Area for a chateau in France is great trade. The “quality of life” in the French countryside would definitely be an upgrade. Thanks for taking us along on your journey.
Regards 👍

Hands down…..Best chateau channel on YT. I have watched each and every episode since you started. Keep up the fantastic work.
