Buy a flower from Aeris when you see her in Sector 8.
Talk to Jessie twice on the train back from Sector 8 and tell her,
"You're in the mood."
Give the flower to Marlene when you have the option.
Don't talk to Tifa while she's behind the bar. If you do, decline her offer of a drink.
Say "...Sorry" when she asks if you've forgotten your promise.
Say "Barret's snoring kept me up all night..." when she asks how you slept the next morning.

Don't get caught by the Security Lockdown; make it to the end of the train.

After defeating Airbuster, before Cloud falls, tell Barret to
"Be strong."

When Aeris runs from the guards, go up to the upper level and tell her to
"Wait" each time. Then, push the wrong barrel (so she has to
fight the guard anyway). Do this three times.

When Aeris asks if Tifa is your girlfriend, say "Yes, that's right."

When you get to the playground in Sector 6, tell Aeris that you'll
"Take her home."

Get all the best items so Cloud gets chosen for Don's
date (not Tifa or Aeris). Tell Don there's someone else, and when
he asks who, say "Yes, his name is Barret..."
When everyone lands in the sewers, talk to Aeris first.

When Marlene asks you how you feel about Aeris, say, "I don't know."

When you first meet Red XIII, tell Barret to look after Aeris (keep Tifa in your party for this battle).

After the battle with HO512, split into a party of Cloud, Barret, and Red XIII.

When Tifa asks if you can escape, say, "(It's a bit difficult)." Think of Barret first, Red XIII second, and Aeris last while you're in the cell.

When you finally escape Midgar and have to choose your party, choose a team with Cloud, Barret, and Red XIII.

In Kalm, after the flashback, tell Barret, "Wait a moment," then say, "Beautiful, simply beautiful!"
Party immediately afterward with Barret, Cloud, and Red XIII.

In a house in Kalm, a woman asks you if Mako energy is convenient. Tell her, "You're full of shit." Talk to the girl upstairs, and
when she asks if the old life was better, say, "Yeah, maybe."
At Fort Condor, agree with the old man about his situation twice.
On the freighter, don't give Yuffie a tranquilizer.
Before entering Gongaga City, form your party with Cloud, Aerith, and
Tifa. Then, when you meet Zack's parents, and Aerith and Tifa leave,
ignore both and leave the city.
Before entering Cosmo Canyon, add Barret to your party. When the party
splits up inside Cosmo Canyon, go into the room behind Tiger Lily's
weapon shop and encourage Barret to keep talking until he
has nothing new to say. Alternatively, you can maximize your points here by choosing the first and then the second option, leaving the room, and then speaking to Barret again: each time you say "Go on," you gain +3 Barret, and choosing "Yes, whatever..." allows you to leave the room and restart the conversation. However, subsequent scores will assume you don't abuse this glitch.
