“The best takedown in the game is a left hook”

My opinion on wrestling has arrived

Word on the street is, Che is gonna propose to charles soon.

To be fair, US wrestlers all start as folkstyle wrestlers and then  some of them move to greco or freestyle, especially if they have aspirations to compete internationally.

1:45 you actually can’t “trip” in Greco you can only take your opponent over a planted leg, which is another part of the reason it’s the least useful style. It’s no-gi judo but no foot sweeps or wrapping trips which is like 50% of judo

Glad you made this video bc during your debate with Kenneth okoye he was 100% oblivious of the differences

As a Mongolian wrestling prodigy I must say that it’s severely underrated in the sport of mma

Dana White’s Oil Wrestling

1:45 leg grabs in judo will probably be allowed again in 2025

Khabib practiced free style wrestling for 4 years when he a teen in Russia I watched a interview and he said that

Ashiwaza aka trips are a fundamental part of judo. Greco-Roman does not allow trips.

0:10 MMA che doesn't beat around the bush. Just ten seconds in and we're addressing the elephant in the room

1:52: Greco Roman does not allow trips, it's not really like Judo. The majority of points are scored on the ground. In judo the majority of ippons are standing.

9:43 also escapes, scrambles, & reversals
Like the Granby you mention, & even Brundage's Schuck

As a mma fighter who is primarily a wrestler I found this video a very good watch and Was funny as.

Greco is not no gi Judo. There are zero trips or sweeps allowed.

MMA Che's adjectives and emphasis on how he laces his sentences is what I live for. . . Plus his consistency in releasing videos has be to noted. . . You get to learn so much about the sport and can help one any guy's progress from being a casual to a hardcore fan in terms of understanding the dynamics of fights and the sport at large

merabs wrestling base isnt turkish oil wrestling bro, HE IS LITERALLY GEORGIAN. his background is in georgian wrestling and judo

Two of the guys featured in the thumbnail come from jacket wrestling sports 😂

What he overlooks is that American Greco-Roman wrestlers start in folk style wrestling, so they know doubles, singles, etc. When they evolved into RG, they went into clinching and standing control positions etc.
