“You have to do it for him now…”

Only Fancy would be that boss to ask the hard questions for his guys.  Thats a leader

"You have to do it for him now." Seems like the most powerful line.

“Turn death into a fighting change to live” -Dr. Leonard McCoy, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock

One of the greatest scenes in the series. “ I’m Art Fancy Mrs Gilliam. I’m a Lieutenant on the job “

Massapequa is about 10 minutes from me. I never caught that mention. God I miss this show.

Looking back again at this scene I marvel at Gordon Clapp's performance expressing both remorse for Officer Gilliam(it really showed in him tapping the phone hard with his finger)and expressing pure joy of hope for Simone at the same time.❤️❤️❤️

"Tim made these decisions."

Powerful.

"Do you know Tim? I know about him."

Great T.V. as always but the donation and matching system are full of complexities, but hey we only have 45 minutes.

Others have already given their view on what seems the best title. Nothing to say on that.

Fancy shows his class in this episode.

It was rare to see Sipowicz so flustered as he was here. He was nearly always in control of himself, especially after getting sober for good and all.

"I'm so glad Bobby's gonna have a shot!"

Bobby's new heart"

Grew up watching NYPD BLUE.   They don’t make good shows like this anymore.  My favorite was Sipowicz.

That to have been the hardest thing to do. Ask for that cops heart. Then the wife finally saying yea. Had to tear her apart.

Look at Lt Fancy flying by the edge of his seat. Just like his detectives in the interview room.

Just incredible how good this show was.  One of the greatest TV dramas of all time, by far.

Bobbie needs a heart.
