When Cope and Headcanon fights Cope and Headcanon

Didn't know bro was an athlete.he is doing some insane  mental gymnastics to jump on shank's.

I mean he's invested too much into shanks to deny the truth now just like a big company cant say they messed up

KOL is objectively wrong about almost everything he said, that's impressive

Dragon looking EAST is a superpower!!!

I hope I will never stoop down to the level of mental gymnastics that requires you think that the word "strongest" doesn't mean "you are stronger than anyone else"

22:14 KOL this argument doesnt make sense
"If haki is not something seperate from swordman strenght, then Brook isn’t a swordsman"

This is a category error by you
Here’s a question KOL

Is Brook a swordsman who uses sword attacks? Yes

Let’s say brook had Haki now, is Brook now still a swordsman who uses sword attacks but now even Stronger? Yes

It’s something that buffs whatever fighting style you are using, when he does a sword slash with haki its still sword slash but now amplified stronger by haki.

You don’t need haki to be a swordsman as we are shown;
And the same swordsman now amped by his own haki will be a stronger swordsman, and STILL a swordsman doing sword attacks.

Zoro was a swordsman pre-timeskip, and post getting observation, armament and Conqerers haki;
Guess what he still is? Purely a swordsman.

4:00 "off the gate, he's wrong"

Duuuude, off the fucking 4 minutes in, you're already in denial !!

"35 mins is too damn long" Wow, society is so cooked. 35 mins is too long but not watching a man's 2hr goon session stream and thousands of hours of TV and video games... there's nothing more beautiful to a empire than having citizens that are stupid, overworked, and brainwashed.

Edit: KOL really fell off hard af, huh? Dude is still mumbling and being bias af. Watching him and Uber Hikari videos just don't hit like they did in hindsight because... they were part of the issue, not the solution.

KOLs stand for shanks should be a prime example for “sunken cost fallacy” for future generations 😂

I’m gonna keep it “simple”: if you have any respect for Mihawk’s character and perspective, then you should see why Mihawk being stronger than Shanks makes sense.

During Mihawk’s introduction to Zoro—and to us as readers—one of the things he expresses is that a skilled swordsman can tell how strong someone is without even crossing blades with them. In other words, unlike other top tiers who may gauge another fighter through information, rumors, or even clashing Conqueror’s Haki and splitting the sky, Mihawk can seemingly look at someone and assess them. Not just their current strength, but potentially their future growth as well, hence his comments about Luffy during Marineford.

(Fun Fact: Oda almost always accentuates Mihawk’s eyes whenever he appears in a confrontation or battle, despite Mihawk having relatively few appearances. It makes sense that this could tie into a unique specialization of Observation Haki. Mihawk has spent his life traveling the world looking for strong swordsmen to challenge. Observation Haki can manifest differently depending on the person rather than simply being “stronger” or “better.” Sanji, because of his personality and obsession with women, has demonstrated an unusual ability to notice women’s cries for help from great distances. Fujitora’s perception is unique in its own way as well. So Mihawk, whose entire life revolves around identifying worthy opponents, having exceptional perception would fit perfectly. And, obviously, there is his “Hawkeye” epithet—something no one else possesses.)

Now that we’ve established Mihawk’s motives, perspective, and way of operating, Mihawk clearly knows how to find Shanks as well. He already demonstrated this when he appeared before the Red Hair Pirates to show Shanks Luffy’s wanted poster.

The important detail is that Mihawk’s arrival was unexpected. The Red Hair Pirates’ lookouts were surprised, and Shanks himself assumed Mihawk had come for a completely different reason. Mihawk simply wanted to show him Luffy’s wanted poster—not find him and fight him like he apparently had done before.

That tells us Mihawk has a reputation for approaching Shanks like this. This wasn’t something the two of them had secretly pre-planned. Mihawk specifically decided to see Shanks after encountering Luffy, most likely because he recognized the significance of the straw hat Luffy was wearing—the same one Shanks used to wear.

Obviously, Shanks and Mihawk had spoken about what happened after Shanks lost his arm and why he sacrificed it. They are friends, and Shanks clearly trusted Mihawk enough to explain his connection to Luffy, something only a handful of people seem to know. Even Whitebeard didn’t appear to know those details.

(Fun Fact: If you doubt Mihawk has Conqueror’s Haki, that’s completely fair because it has not been officially confirmed. But let me ask this: what usually surrounds the iconic Conqueror’s Haki sky-splitting clashes? One or both parties begin exerting Conqueror’s Haki, the atmosphere changes, the skies become turbulent, and when two top-tier users clash, the heavens split. If they continue fighting, the sky can remain disturbed until the confrontation ends, after which the weather clears.

When Mihawk approached Shanks, Shanks was clearly irritated because he thought Mihawk had come to challenge him again. But once Mihawk revealed Luffy’s wanted poster, Shanks’ mood completely changed, and the atmosphere visibly brightened as the clouds cleared. So my question is: why would Shanks prepare himself that way against someone he knew had absolutely no Conqueror’s Haki? We’ve seen comparable confrontations involving Whitebeard vs. Shanks, Roger vs. Shiki, Kaido vs. Big Mom, Roger vs. Whitebeard, Kaido vs. Luffy, and Demon Xebec vs. Roger and Garp.)

This finally leads into Mihawk’s comments about Shanks being a “one-armed has-been,” or however you want to interpret that statement. At the end of the day, Mihawk has his exceptional perception, his ability to read people’s strength, and—most importantly—direct knowledge of how Shanks fights because they have already fought each other. Despite all of that history, Mihawk no longer views Shanks as someone he wants to challenge.

And no, those two were not somehow weak back then compared to everyone today. Why would someone like Whitebeard describe their duels as legendary or memorable if they were merely “ Top-Commander-level” fights?

Whitebeard personally experienced the God Valley Incident and fought Roger multiple times. This is a man who knew what the absolute highest levels of combat looked like. Yet he still remembered Mihawk and Shanks’ duels.

Why would Whitebeard also react to Shanks losing his arm by essentially saying, “A man like you lost an arm?” and asking what kind of enemy managed to do that? Because Shanks was already famous for his strength back then.
The Shanks we see in the earliest chapters of One Piece is the same Shanks Whitebeard is referring to. If you believe Shanks grew stronger during the decade afterward, I agree. But I doubt he suddenly experienced another enormous leap during the two-year time skip, for reasons I’ve already explained elsewhere.

Regardless, Mihawk outright told Zoro that he would remain at the top of all swordsmen in the world and wait for him. That isn’t just Mihawk talking about his own pride. He is deliberately maintaining his position so Zoro has a summit to reach.

Mihawk was influenced by Shanks in his own way. He gradually opened himself up more, eventually guiding and training one of these younger “saplings” instead of remaining completely isolated.

All of this cope could be avoided if KOL just simply admitted he likes Shanks more than MIhawk, and so he'd prefer him to be stronger.

It's not skill it's strength. His title is "the strongest" there's nothing to debate against that. If Shanks is stronger than Mihawk than he'd have the WSS Title. If Shanks is stronger than Mihawk, Zoro should be seeking him out not Mihawk. If Shanks if stronger Mihawk shouldn't want to find someone stronger than Shanks to fight for his title. And don't for a second say Shanks isn't a swordsman, he's been stated to be a swordsman several times in the story and SBSs.

It just doesn't make sense narratively for Shanks to be greater than Mihawk. Mihawk being stronger than Shanks even by the slightest margin doesn't mess up anything and doesn't contradict anything because Shanks isn't painted as the strongest by anybody.

Shanks doesn't even need to be stronger than Mihawk, his role in the story exists far beyond being the strongest. Meanwhile Mihawk needs to be the strongest otherwise Zoro's entire dream is a lie. He defeats Mihawk, cool, but he isn't actually strongest swordsman it's Shanks so Zoro's title as the new WSS isn't true.

Its funny to think how this conversation changes if shanks had the title

Divine departure is a sword technique - it’s actually stated to be quite the complex technique that only Shanks mastered after Roger. No matter how you slice it, Shanks is a swordsman and Mihawk is the goat.

Kol makes no sense with his arguments, the video says the title of the worlds strongest swordsman is in name and reality in the story. Kol will still argue that we are taking the title “too seriously”, that there is deeper writing there😭😭. If shanks beats mihawk in a sword fight that means he is the strongest. He is basically saying exactly what the video is calling out, that people differentiate haki and swordsmanship , when the only way to reach the peak power as a swordsman is with haki. He keeps using the same arguments with different words to make it seem like he is correct. At this point there is no point in being the worlds strongest swordsman since anyone else with stronger conquerors haki with a sword can beat you

This video literally explains the titles and how they were giving and by who, only for kol to twist everything that was said right after.

Imagine zoro finally beating mihawk and declares himself as the strongest swordsman.
Only for shanks, a stronger fighter who is also a swordman to be standing there.
How stupid zoro will look in that moment.
Do you think that oda is gonna do him dirty like that?

54:30 Here you admit Shanks is a swordsman, you also admitted earlier Mihawks title about being THE strongest swordsmam there is is also accurate

So Mihawk stronger swordsman than Shanks then? Apparently not to you lol
