When measuring ratio between key and fill sides, you’d get a more accurate reading by dropping the dome into the recess because now you don’t want the averaging of the dome.

would you say this is more accurate than zebras or false colors? like on the bmpcc's for example. that's what i have right now and i use a $5 app i found for my iphone that gives your the room's color temperature and tint and it seems to be working, but i'm always looking to improve on where i can.

Question: When shooting in S log should i look at the reading on the meter and then add 1.5 -2 stops? Sorry if that's a dumb question, but it confuses me. Thanks for the video!

If you don’t know that tech stuff he’s talking about avoiding talking about so you won’t get discouraged: get good son.

Go learn about it! Do your best and learn about it over time and try to practice and think about it when you can! Keep learning!

Hi Tom and Jacob. Just wondering what you do if you’re using a ND filter? Is there a setting to input the amount of stops you’re using? Thank you 🙏🏻🎥

But wait a minute since the light meter gives us an aperture reading why puting an aperture reading initially since the light meter will still give u an aperture reading
