Hello, a couple things!

1: I forgot to say in the video that there were a decent number of people who chose colours based on minesweeper. It was only 26 who stated so, but that is notable because the bfdi number colours are based off of the minesweeper colours

2: if my voice sounds weird at all during this video, it’s because I recorded everything once, and realized my mic was not hooked up… so then I had to re-record everything again and my voice was D E A D by the end of it.

3: there WILL BE ANOTHER POLL NEXT WEEK! check back next Saturday!!!! (Note: this one has nothing to do with assigning colours to things)

2:21 Hello back to you Deckard too!!!!

love how this was basically a battle between the numberblocks fandom and the bfdi fandom

Fun fact, BFDI's 1-8 characters' colors were based on the colors of the numbers in the Windows version of Minesweeper - The only one being different is 5, who is purple in BFDI, while being a dark red in Minesweeper.

The multiples of 10 being lighter tints of the numbers from 1 to 10 is also probably numberblocks related. That's how they're colored in the show, lighter and just a little less saturated.

14:19  2023 being that green represents the "brat" meme, trending at that time😊

The target audiences of your videos and Numberblocks probably shouldn't be overlapping, yet here we are.

I have a simple routine.
-I see object show
-I click

4:36 in his debut episode, Numberblock Seven was fully violet until a rainbow landed on him and turned him colorful

9:39 purple probably placed high for pi because there’s also a BFDI Pi character, they only appear in a short though so that’s probably why purple  isnt that high up

fun fact : people put 2763 because is a current gag in bfdi

The reason why Tau and sqrt(2) ended up being blue and pink is because they do have a bfdi algebralien after them!, also the reason pi got a very high purple score : - )

777 possibly couldve been yellow due to its association as a holy number, like how 666 was red due to it being an unholy number

15:10 i think its because 2763 is the amount of miles from Goiky to Yoyleland in BFDI, and Yoyleland is purple

19:47   The number characters in bfdi known as algebralians predate bfdi first appearing in X finds out his value

2:36 ah my two favourite shows

Oh, oh! I'm pretty sure I know why the highest submitted color for 2763 was purple!

2763 is a number most commonly associated with the distance between the original location and a place called Yoyleland ("And the nearest yoyleberries are in Yoyleland! Which is 2,763 miles away! It'll take months of walking.")

In the series, it's a place with deep purple berries and purple grass. It was likely that the voters chose the Yoyleland/Yoyleberries as their primary reason for choosing purple. As for why there were other colors, I can assume that Green and Yellow ranked somewhat highly for 2763 as the colors of Yoylecake, a cake made from said Yoyleberries.

I think the reason why five was orange is because on the month color video when you were explaining synesthesia you gave an example "five is very orangey"

OH MY GOD IT JUST CLICKED WHY 5 HAD SOME ORANGE

Mike Salcedo has been continuing Alphabet Lore... with numbers. Five happens to be orange, and the episode it first shows up premiered two months before the data was collected.

adding it here because i havent seen anyone mention it yet, but im fairly sure the color associations with 413 and 612 are because of homestuck.

both numbers are very prominent in homestuck and appear many times throughout the comic. i think there was probably some like extra lore in the comic somewhere about the numbers or whatever, but most notably, 4/13 was the beginning date of homestuck and is associated with the color of the homestuck logo (green), and 6/12 was the date that the trolls species was introduced in the comic with their signature gray skin, with the trolls arguably being one of the most popular parts of homestuck.

as a side note, i checked the spreadsheet and there was another single vote for blue purple, which is likely because the trolls actually have their own "logo", being an edited version of the regular homestuck logo, changed to be that shade of purple. though it seems gray is more commonly associated with the trolls, and therefore 612.
