The family dynamic promotes competition…

My point isn’t that Kourtney is never annoying she absolutely is 😂 My point is that they completely rewrote her contribution to the family and the show.

In the early seasons, Kourtney was one of the ones actually running DASH. She went to business school, worked with Kris, and was constantly calling Kim out for not wanting to work. Then years later, somehow Kim became the symbol of hard work and Kourtney became “the lazy one.”

Meanwhile, Kourtney gave the show some of its most personal storylines. She gave birth twice on camera, showed the ugliest parts of her relationship with Scott, and let them film years of her actual life. A huge part of what made the Kardashians entertaining in the first place was Kourtney, Khloé and Scott.

So I think it’s unfair that once Kourtney started setting boundaries and no longer wanted to give them every part of herself, suddenly the narrative became that she “doesn’t work.”

And the Khloé part is probably what makes it sadder. Kourtney and Khloé used to be the duo making fun of that whole hyper-curated, image-obsessed lifestyle, and then Khloé slowly moved toward Kim while Kourtney moved away from it.

That’s why I think some of Kourtney’s attitude is trolling, but some of it is probably genuine hurt too. Imagine your sister being your ride-or-die for years, and then feeling like she joined the exact side you both used to roll your eyes at.

Kourtney didn’t suddenly stop contributing. She just stopped wanting her entire life to be the product.

I know people don’t like Kourtney but I honestly can’t stand Kim.

If Kourtney ACTUALLY put her kids first, she wouldn't ignore them, instead being overtly sexual with a new creepy husband.  Kourtney uses her kids to launder both her reputation and her own identity through.

If I had a mum like Kim I probably wouldn’t respect her either

It goes to show when you are the scapegoat and being used, as soon as you stop being useful the people using you will turn on you regardless of how much you gave them beforehand.

I think she doesn’t want the pressure of always looking good. It is a choice to go all the way to the other side to completely continue to not be compared.

Classic DARVO when Kourtney is explaining the issue and all Kim does is deflect and asks “are you happy?”. Kim clearly has never tried to work on actual issues within the family, she wants everyone to shut up and move on and smile for the camera just like her mother. I think Kourtney has many times tried to have real conversations with her family about her feelings and the issues and when every time she’s insulted, blamed, and talking to people who can’t process that type of emotional maturity, no wonder she has distanced herself.

They are a family that operates primarily as a business. It’s no doubt that resentment grows as they compete for the approval from their narc mother

At the end of the day, knowing how this family operates, I can’t help but wonder if this so-called rift between the sisters is just another on going storyline for the viewers.

It's funny and crying that I'm watching this while I'm going through the worst explosion because of my family's resentment of me and my dissatisfaction with them, and this video seems to be talking about us.


I think that families or relationships in general need to communicate clearly and respect each other as people and respect the other person's points of view, circumstances and presentations.

Not a Kardashian fan here, but Kourtney's comments were definitely very passive aggressive.  Can't stand passive aggression!

I think North genuinely enjoys the attention and has a big personality. We never hear about the other kids!

None  of her kids were invited to her engagement ceremony. Her daughter WEPT on the show when she finally called her to tell her.
She brought that strange, strange man into her house. He IGNORES all her kids. They openly make out in front of them, in an, my opinion, overtly sexual way. That is such a disturbing thing for a child to watch.
She is FAR more interested in spending time/taking selfies with her step kids.

Kim has been major disappointment. I feel she's too busy and also wants so badly to be friends with North, she's lost control of the girl.
I'm sorry but both of these women are faulty in the motherhood department.
Just because someone says their kids are the most important things in their lives doesn't make it true.😊

I don't mean to be as rude as this sounds,yet the fact is, Kim has more concern for her vagina & ego, then she has for North & her security.

There is no way Kim will ever pass the bar exam if she failed the practice bar 3 times.
